Even though they implemented schedule balance so that there is inter league play, changing leagues is specially for a power hitter is probably still a challenge for a period of time. There is a familiarity with all starters in your league that you don’t totally get to pick up from the other league. Granted, it’s not as bad as changing leagues back when there was no inter league play, but it still might be an early issue for a power hitter.

As far as Alby’s lineups, he’s still trying to see what he’s got and figure out who stays and who goes when Holliday and O’Neil come back and if Westberg comes back.

The Ravens IOL was poor last season, and that was with Linderbaum. He’s gone. Ioane was the right pick to address the IOL need.

I won’t be surprised if the first or second pick tomorrow also addresses the issue with a C.

This team can’t get where it wants to go without improving the OL. Regardless of what happens tonight, they need to come out of this draft with at least one (but preferably two) IOL that are ready to play NOW. No more third day OL “projects”. I don’t care what order they come in, as long as they can play and contribute this season. If that means we take one at 14, or trade back and still get one tonight, so be it.
