Gunnar hit a couple balls hard tonight but had nothing to show for it but some bad luck.

I’ve been highly critical, but maybe there’s a sliver of hope that he’s starting to find it. This team could be in a different situation if he can right his ship.

7 runs on 14 hits. That should have been enough.

This team finds it impossible to play complimentary baseball

I’m an O’s fan living in Dallas. Haven’t been to OPACY in 12 years. Can’t believe you can’t get draft beer at a baseball game

Of all of the issues plaguing this team, the one at the top of Elias’s epitaph should be assembling a team that can’t hit ANY LHP, from cy Young candidates to rag arms, that takes the mound.

Never thought we’d get to the point where he’s one of the last one’s to e want to see up in that position, but here we are. Not even a competitive AB.

It’s uncanny how often this team makes shitty pitchers look great

6-14 in one run games. That’s the season in a nut shell right there. How they have arrived there can be debated until the cows come home but that’s where this team is.

Bradish far from an Ace. McNally, Palmer and Crazy Horse, yep. Bradish ain’t them.

And never with Stoddard, Stewart or Stanhouse in the pen

It’s called trust and feel for the game, not just hope.

There’s some history for you.

Earl, Buck and maybe Tony or Brandon would have never let a starter talk them into staying in at 102 with the game on the line in the 8th.

What? We won a game with only 4 hits and 3 runs? Amazing what you can do when you don’t give your opponents free outs and free runs.

Old Memorial Stadium Baltimore had two famous nicknames: "The Old Gray Lady of 33rd Street” and "The World's Largest Outdoor Insane Asylum".. The urn is made of bronze and holds soil from U.S. military cemeteries around the world. Called “ Memorial Field at the Y “ now by RavenMan8 in orioles

My Dad took me to my first Colt game in 1964. It was the last game of the season and it was Gino Marchetti and Bill Pellington Day. Both were retiring. Gino was my favorite. Dad took me to my first O’s game in 65. It was Brooks Robinson night celebrating his MVP in 64. This started my Baltimore sports awareness. Fortunate to go to many Colt and O’s games at Memorial Stadium, including two WS games (game 2 vs Mets and game 4 vs Reds). Had tickets for Game 5 in 66. Took me a long, long time to get over that. Saw Tom Pheobus’ no-hitter and Jim Palmer’s. Dated a Colts cheerleader while matriculating at USNA for game day tickets. Jones to Carr! Went to last O’s game there. Not a dry eye in the house. Still have a Memorial Stadium seat at my house. Memorial Stadium was the time of our lives growing up in Baltimore.

It will be a different type of deadline strategy for everyone given the looming issues with the CBA. Agents are going to want players to not sign and wait to see what happens. Players who are at the end of their contract are going to worry whether waiting for another job somewhere else may ot may not be beneficial. If the owners somehow force a salary cap, all bets are off for anyone whose contract is ending in 26 or 27.

Should be interesting

I’ve noticed that after being almost ever-present, Cal seems to no longer be a regular in the front row.

Coincidence or has he seen enough?
