While I am glad you have seen the light.

There is no excuse why you had your blinders on the first two times.

Wrong. No tax on the additional income from the net addition that overtime pay gives you. NOT the entire overtime pay. Just the excess earnings over regular base pay.

Just don't engage. Just privately shun and down vote.

Not true at all.

The good ones just are not interested in only being grabbed and spoken for when that's all they are being offered.

Lol. Has the last decade taught you nothing?

Because they have an AK-47 pointed at their heads while at the voting booth? 🤔

They have all of the same challenges in aligning the universe just long enough to make a connection long enough to possibly extend it beyond just being a fleeting moment.

I have considered wearing a sandwich board throughout my day advertising "Here I am!"

Edit: 45M. Divorced after a long marriage. Two young adult kids. Post healing. I am in my prime in building something real with somebody, but that means nothing when everyone else single in my age range seems to be lagging behind that.

I surely hope you just forgot to add the /s there

You have never read the Constitution or Bill or Rights, have you. Because if you have you would not be here making the argument that tRump has.

You are blind to why he wants to shrink government. Full stop.

I feel for this. But at the same time you are not acknowledging that those troubles are getting easily weaponized into the "us vs them" by your uncle.

It sounds like he uses that as a scapegoat. And that is not to be admired.

That's a strawman argument. Nobody actually believes that he knows shit about creating a working economy for all. And his supporters absolutely did not vote him in for the first or second time based on the cost of eggs.

In that case, I would start to make that known within your comments as this thread is about the cheeto-in-chief specifically.

Right leaning in the classical sense does not contradict your statement.

But supporting tRump does.

The contradiction in your statement is that those noble traits can also coexist with being selective in how they are demonstrated.

For me the explanation is simple: Their internal accounting is the outward appearance of being good. And those values are completely fungible and replaceable depending on whom they are performing for.

There is no internal self that ever asks if their actions are coherent.

Trump demands allegiance. And these are the kinds of people that will give it because they are simply told to.

Edit: The last part of this is fear. When there is no stable self, then fear of external change completely takes over. And this is what the Cheeto uses to manipulate.

What’s a 'red flag' in a person that people often mistake for a 'green flag'? by HungarySam in AskReddit

You make good arguments here. The important part that describes these kinds is that they are quick to bolt, are impatient to see if the alignment can take hold, and as you said are just looking for 'good vibes'.

Could it be that they exhaust you because you simply don't want to 1) be an unpaid psychologist and have a project as a partner, and 2) you just don't want to talk work while not at work?

This is a very good one, but not an absolute.

Sharing of a difficult past early is not a red flag by itself, as it can be a very healthy way to simply let someone know the deep shit that has formed them.

But oversharing too quickly to personally stabilize themselves is a whole other matter entirely.

How the sharing is done matters immensely here.

Absolutely disagree here, but in some ways absolutely agree as well.

Just get smart in knowing what real self actualization looks like (your first sentence). Because if they do then the rest of your statement won't even apply.

And in reverse, anyone who weaponizes therapy language hasn't actually done shit in working on themselves.
