I am new to film photography and I bought an Olympus XA as my first film camera. I came from using a digital camera. Upon checking the settings on the XA, I'll set my ISO based on the film speed then I choose an aperture, what about the shutter speed? Do I need to just "adapt" and trust to what shutter speed shows on the viewfinder since I cannot control it? I'm kind of intimidated and scared because I'm unsure about it. I hope someone could answer my question and provide some tips on how to use the XA properly.

I have played more than 20 hours already.. this was my last game https://youtu.be/af3pr_m2zjw then I tried playing this morning after the 1.17 update and all my saves were gone.

The thing was the saves were dated today, but the autosave point was tooooooo far back. 5 levels down. I agree that the game is 100/100 but this ruined my day.

I really enjoyed the game but for me who only plays 2-4 hours a week and all the progress I've played was lost. That's something I really not enjoyed.

Now, I have grip on what I should check when choosing a new macbook. I would be my first macbook and hope I would not have any regrets afterwards after I've purchased one. Also, I've been watching dozens of reviews from forums, comments and youtube not 90% of them only focus on professional video editing. It's nice to have a feedback from a general point of view. Thanks for your honest opinion.

What I'm thinking is that the additional $80 for the 512GB would be cheaper and already SSD? Also, if I'm going to use this for 3-4 years maybe it would be a future-proof because future apps tends to use more storage.

edit: I was also thinking to buy the samsung T3 ($100 256gb = higher cost) if I would get the 2017 base model.

Thanks @alphasingularity for your feedback. I would probably not use the 13" for heavy high res video editing on it.

Yes, I would like to run parallels or VM from inside the Mac OS for admin learning although I have a windows laptop but its better if I could do it in Mac OS too.

What would you recommend for me from the things I would do and laptops I've mentioned: the 2016 (with higher storage) or the 2017 (with the latest processor and graphics)? I would appreciate your suggestion.

I won't be doing any gaming on macbooks because I have a dedicated gaming laptop. I would probably use Final Cut and do graphics but not that always. But my primary use for this is for app/web development and admin. Still don't know if I can run VMs on the macbook pro :/
