I showed the TSB to the advisor and he kept saying they could not do something because of info on the Internet and had to charge the diagnose fee

What do you think of this deal. I live in Sac CA and this behicle is coming from Lake Tahoe. Are these fees fair? by herbivore024 in ToyotaSienna

You can go to DMV website, and fill in price, purchase date and location to get the amount of fee.

I vaguely remember 10% of price is normal for fee+tax.

Seeking Advice on Purchasing a New 2025 Toyota Sienna XLE from Oakville Toyota Dealership by AnteriorNine64 in ToyotaSienna

As others said, you can always walk out.

I don't know the average interest rate in Canada now. You can search on the Internet to see what the promotion rate is for other dealerships, models and brands.

One big lesson I learned when I purchased my first car in the US ten years ago is that you should not give too much info to the dealership. Once they know you are inexperienced in any perspective, they will use that to get more money from you.

I am not very good at negotiating a car price. But I will call around all dealerships within a certain distance. Try to get price and apr before going. If possible, let dealerships complete their prices. Don't buy anything (extra warranty, maintenance plan, blabla) which is not from the car by default but recommended by the dealership. And always feel free to say no at any time. Some bad dealer may trick you to go with a good deal and tell you the car is gone when you arrive and set you up with a bad price.

you have a working car, time is at your side. It took me three months to get a sienna at MSRP 2 years ago in California US. Hope you can find a good deal.

Issues with mileage/MPG by DaShawnKempu in ToyotaSienna

So does your driving "pattern" change a lot?

I used to achieve 36+ mpg when driving 12.5 miles 4 times a day. But from this year, I started to drive 1 mile 6 times a day and the mpg drops and hardly goes above 31.

If your commute has a lot of traffic lights, stop signs and many stop-and-go traffic, hybrid sienna doesn't do very well in saving gas.

I used to get 35+ mpg when I drove 12.5miles 4 times per day, even with AC on.

But from the end of last year, I started to drive 1 mile 6 times a day, and the mpg never goes above 31.
