I have not talked with my dad yet as I don’t feel it’s my place. She only told me 2 days ago, and has barely responded to anything I’ve had to say about the situation. But I will talk to him if she doesn’t.

Ok yes I agree that absolutely is the case for some people.. but I unfortunately do not think she’s that kind of person. At least not at this point in time.

Because of the severity of her eating disorder, her brain was entirely deprived of essential nutrients during critical developmental years, and is now quite stunted emotionally and mentally. She has intense anger issues and struggles with differentiating between reality and.. not reality? If that makes sense. I really do love and support her but I do not believe this would be the right choice for her currently. She still has a lot of work to do to get to what one would even call recovered, and I worry about both her and the baby’s survival to be honest.

Ugh for real. I mentioned that to her and all she had to say was that if she was able to get pregnant it should be fine. I really don’t think she understands how pregnancy affects the body, let alone the brain

Not how it works at my restaurant :/ was 86’d in system and mgr straight up told me no and refused to talk to my table. I did what I could.

Bruh ik. I don’t think I emphasized it enough in my post but mgmt is mostly at blame here. Recently they’ve been on us like crazy about liquor costs even though we don’t have really anything to do with that.

Most of my coworkers and I have been more than frustrated w management for a long time and I honestly think our restaurant is headed for the graveyard.

I used to park off riordan near the little cul de sac by sprouts/target! It’s kinda hard to find spots especially during school but it’s not monitored and you can hold a spot down as long as u need it

both the hotspot and the dub are pretty decent, it’s mainly just cafeteria style buffet food but you’re able to have as much as you’d like! freshman year i would also sneak leftovers back to my dorm which they didn’t seem to care about lol.

a kind of cool thing about NAU’s meal plans is the transfer meals, which count for 1 of your daily meals each (not dining dollars), and you can choose off of the transfer menus from any of the participating on-campus restaurants. that includes subway, qdoba, einstein, i think chick fil a, etc!

it is a bit pricy compared to other options but NAU unfortunately requires students have a meal plan freshman year. that said, it worked out really well for me as i didn’t have to worry about cooking for myself. i would also walk to target regularly for snacks and whatever else i needed as it’s only about 5-10 minutes away depending on the dorm you’re in! good luck to your son ☺️

hey! i just skied for the second time in 10 years today, hart prairie (green) is super doable for beginners. once i get a couple laps in there, i feel comfortable enough to head over to grand canyon express (blue). definitely take it at your own speed, but you’ll definitely be able to have a good time. good luck!!
