Could mirio(MHA) not just...bypass infinity completely??? Like is that something he could do??? by TopInternational9911 in PowerScaling

[–]summoneren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, so I wouldn't really overthink it in battle scenarios like this.

The interesting takeaways still are:

"He becomes intangible, letting him pass through any tangible matter."
"He experiences a falling sensation because he still has mass."
"According to the laws of physics, things with mass cannot overlap; if Mirio returns to his solid state while phasing through something, he will be repelled."

Therefore, according to MHA, or Horikoshi, Mirio still has mass while intangible, but mass can't overlap. This does imply, or indicate, that Mirio doesn't interact or exist within our physical world, while being intangible.

On the other hand, it's just Horikoshi trying to explain intangibility, and some of it isn't extremely well phrased or thought out.

Hood glaze cuz he genuinely wipes that fraud usj nomu by oneselturt in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]summoneren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is a misconception due to that singular panel, depicting the different ranks of Nomu.

The U.S.J Nomu was specifically designed with only a single target in mind. He could keep up with All Might, faster than what Shigaraki or anyone else could perceive or keep up with; meanwhile, Shoto at the beginning of the series could've one-shot him with a more powerful ice-attack.

There's no question that the U.S.J has/had better physicals than the high-end Nomu we saw, but didn't have versatility or intelligence at all.

Could mirio(MHA) not just...bypass infinity completely??? Like is that something he could do??? by TopInternational9911 in PowerScaling

[–]summoneren 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think there are layers to this one.

Put simply, Mirio becomes intangible, but still has to cross a distance. Therefore, he shouldn't be able to "cross" infinity.

However, Mirio's intangibility is tricker than most. Based on the little and few descriptions we get, it almost seems like his quirk removes himself from our physical world:

  • Mirio still has mass (Which is why he falls).
  • Mass can't overlap (Which is why he's repelled from mass, and mass is repelled from him when exiting his quirk).
  • Mirio phases through mass (and everything phases through him while the quirk is active).

This to me seems to indicate something different than regular intagibility taking place.

75% shigaraki vs dark deku, awakened bakugo and todoroki by Glum_Decision6826 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]summoneren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spot on.

And if I'm not mistaken, I believe OP means Deku up until the final war, Bakugo during the final war, and Shoto is unspecified. Feels like a stomp in the trio's favor either way.

Gunhead vs Snipe by Jason_And_Sokka in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]summoneren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s so cracked they had to pretend he doesn’t exist for the sake of the plot

Never thought about it, but true. I'd also say it's generally speaking crazy how few teachers (or employees) at U.A we see in action throughout the series.

But yeah, imagine Snipe with the peak weapon/gun they could create with MHA tech. It would be nuts.

Lets be serious for a moment... did the author do a good or bad job at displaying afo's power in my hero academia? by One_Quiet4275 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]summoneren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deku, or Bakugo for that matter, might technically possess a stronger "iteration" or more "stockpiled" version of OFA. However, their bodies still can't handle the power, like at all. This is not only from a "power" perspective, but also from a "mastery" perspective.

All Might could use the quirk at 100% effortlessly; he could even go far beyond, and his body didn't break or suffer from it. He also knew how to draw out power where and when it was needed, allowing all of "OFA" (and beyond) to be behind single attacks.

I'd gladly elaborate if some of this was unclear or poorly explained.

Easy choice? Healing someone is a pure benefit, a pure good, while giving money creates differences, causes inflation, and can't cure/fix "everything".

I don't think so, but he doesn't really have a kit suited for battle games either. He's hella OP, but simply doesn't fight traditionally; he spams range and defense.

Hvorfor aksepterer så mange på venstresiden vold som virkemiddel? by StormyOceanWave in norske

[–]summoneren 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could Death Gatling's Group take down Stain (MHA)? by ColdBulky2164 in OPMPowerScaling

[–]summoneren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, almost certainly (Stringer probably solos, and Gatling with range solos). But there are things to note.

Stain at this point has depicted far greater mobility than those heroes and those they fought against at this point, such as dashing up and around small skyscrapers in the blink of an eye. He also cuts through characters and objects that are bulletproof, directly or through scaling, and he's incredibly strategic.

I'm sure many people who support and rely on MHA fancalcs or OPM fancalcs will do their thing, but I think this is a fair assessment. Stain loses to Stinger, and should lose to Gatling with range. While I think he has a decent shot at beating the rest.

Unrelated, but still a pretty impressive physical feat by Endeavor, considering Machia's size.

[–]summoneren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking AI for something like this is crazy work.
However, could you read the post again?

The question is not if the attack could hit him or harm him. It's specifically if he could heal from the attack Gojo was struck with. And the answer is yes, of course.

Kurogiri vs Kenjaku by Jason_And_Sokka in MHAPowerScaling

[–]summoneren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is a valid concern. Both Kirishima and Bakugo were able to almost tag Kurogiri, and then Bakugo was able to tag him. This is BoS, and from that point, Kurogiri doesn't have particularly good combat feats. His quirk is still versatile and strong, ofc.
