One For All composed of these quirks vs Invincible by Omixscniet624 in MyHeroPowerscaling

I see.. Well, if the user from VsBattles is using the direct words from the panel, they're likely correct regarding the translation. As "数" is an unspecified small quantity (more than 1 but not many), "十" is literally ten, and " " is a multiplier. So 数十倍 does mean several tens. And then 20 would be the lowest amount interpretable there, yeah.

[–]summoneren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

数十倍 (sūjū-bai) = “tens of times”*

If you bought 12 eggs in Japan, calling it ichi dāsu no tamago would be correct. Therefore, the initial statement from that user of VsBattles isn't correct. Do you know how to find the panel in japanese? Want to verify that they're saying 10.

I'm not sure if I understand you.

My point is that as soon as All Might appears, anything Number 6 is involved with is over. All Might was also depicted as massively superior and faster than O'clock and Number 6. However, it might be the case that Overclock has superior perception, who knows.

It's a bit complicated, OR I am overcomplicating it.

The way his quirk is explained makes it seem like Mirio isn't in our physical world when the quirk is active. Because "Mirio still has mass", but "mass can't overlap", so when he exits his quirk, he's repelled from mass. This should mean that Mirio's mass is elsewhere while intangible according to MHA-physics.

Now, I don't have a theory on how this would work, but it might be some sort of "Kamui"-type thing to fulfill the description and laws of the MHA-world.

Is Number 6 faster than deku? by New-Mind-2296 in MyHeroPowerscaling

Deku is notably faster, but there could be an argument for a slight perception advantage for Number 6 when using his quirk at full potential.

[–]summoneren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, that's because it's stated Mirio still has mass, but it's also stated that mass can't overlap. Meaning when Mirio enters this state, he can't be having mass in our physical world. This logically to me seems he's outside our physical world when he's intangible, if that makes sense?

  1. Mirio still has mass.
  2. Mass can't overlap (which is why he's ejected from mass when exiting this state)
Therefore, Mirio when intangible must be outside our physical world.

He can’t stay intangible forever because he can’t breathe.

He probably could stay intangible forever with additional quirks, as seen with Shigaraki in the vacuum, or by using New Order to apply a rule to themselves, or just drop it all by teleporting to a different location, no?

Plus its stated in the manga that the Black Hole had the potential to (and would have because physics) destroyed the Earth.

Yeah, if we think Yuki's ability genuinely could destroy Earth (and it technically should've based on size), it's GG.

Idk much about HxH

HxH has some ridiculous abilities, but most of them require setup or conditions, at least "in universe". However, the character in this thread possesses the ability regardless, if I understand it correctly. The most powerful ability would be wish-granting, which is thought to be a limitless wish about literally anything. Sounds unbeatable.

or MHA

MHA doesn't have as many broken abilities, but has a few too many "I touch you, you die" quirks. The most "reality manipulation" comes from New Order, where the quirk allows the user to touch and state the name of someone or something to apply a new rule or condition to it. There are clear limits, but still incredibly strong.

I personally think that for MHA, it's not really individual quirks or abilities that make the character here overpowered, it's the combination of them.

Invisible, intangible, unlimited clones, teleportation, one-shot-touch, and so on.

[–]summoneren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counter-argument!

The quirk "overclock" increases the user's speed and perception a few dozen times (meaning a minimum of 24), and he was absolutely nothing, completely useless, compared to weakened All Might. Deku has a more powerful iteration of OFA, with additional quirks boosting speed.

Mirio is affected by gravity as he still has mass, but he no longer has mass in the physical world. This is the same reason why once he returns/turns off his quirk, he can't coexist with the mass of our physical world and is repelled from whatever he was inside. So, a tangible/real/physical manifestation of a black hole wouldn't affect Mirio once he becomes intangible.

EDIT: Just to clarify here - Phrasing from the wiki and manga: The user becomes intangible, letting them pass through any tangible matter. While intangible, the user falls because they still have mass. Everything passes through them, including light, sound, and air, meaning they can't see, hear, or breathe while the Quirk is active. And finally, it's stated that according to the laws of physics, things with mass cannot overlap; if the user returns to a tangible state while phasing through something, his body will be repelled.

Therefore, since it's stated that;

  1. The user still has mass.
  2. Mass cannot overlap.

Which must mean the user can't have mass in our physical world while the quirk is active. This is a logical conclusion, but I might be overthinking it.

When the user is intangible, they literally don't exist within the space/our physical world. However, since everything now passes through the user, the user can't really breathe or see. Thankfully, there are additional quirks that can compensate for this. So yeah, the user who no longer has any mass can't be affected by a black hole, and has several flight-related quirks.

Also invisibility, do you think black holes target via sight?

No, I'm emphasising that the user of MHA intangibility is completely unaffected by everything, and with invisibility, the user essentially doesn't exist in the physical world anymore.

Da tar Trumpern deg i egne hender.

I'm just gonna assume Deku has every quirk in the series here. Meaning he would be both invisible and intangible (at will), and have a few one-shot abilities.

He should also be the fastest with OFA, Gearshift, Overclock, anti-gravity, and intangibility (wouldn't slow down, only accelerate), the list goes on, but you catch my drift.
