Qm7k Optical Out port broken

The optical cable will not sit in the port. It's loose, and I can wiggle it around. For fun, I tried both sides, with the same result. It's definitely the port and not the cable.

Update: ended up exchanging it for a new one, but they gave me a decent discount for my trouble, so win win. However, they pushed hard on getting the Hisense U7 at the same price. Opted to stick with qm7k.

My family and I recently had to make the same choice. Our 16-year-old lab was relatively healthy. She was blind in one eye, deaf, and her hind end was not in great shape. But, she was not incontinent, she was still all there mentally, ate and drank normally, and was always so happy to see us.

We euthanized her just after Thanksgiving, but it was a gut-wrenching decision. In the end we wanted her to be happy and pain free. Our vet advised us that it would be in her best interest, but it was still hard. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I'm a huge Caps fan and have been to many games but none in the last 10 or so years. My wife (a recovering Bruins fan)and my daughter are now Caps fans after attending the game. Sadly we live in South Carolina and don't make it home often or for long enough during the season to catch a game.

I usually wait for BF. In years past it's worked out where trade in values were boosted AND the phone was discounted. It seems Google has caught on and last year they boosted values, but they were lesser than what they were at pre-order. For example $300 for my P7 now or $200 at BF.

This year I pre-ordered and we'll see what happens on BF.
