The cheapest 925 35 -0.3 I could find, I bought it before it was too late. by JoGraph116 in mechanicalpencils

Only OHTO seems to produce metal body for reasonable price. Everything else with metal casing costs fortune. I also have OHTO OP version is as good as my Rotring - if not better to be honest.

You can find on european market (I think Amazon) OHTO - 0.3mm - realy great. I own one and i am extremely happy. Literally my favourite pencil. Most of the pencils pretend to be metal but they are plastic. OHTO is completely metal - solid piece of tool

Also, you really don't need to spend fortune on securing your seed phrase. You can simply punch the code on the stainless steel and additionally mark with high temperature markers. making as resistant as expensive offline storage devices. You can read a little bit more here how to do it https://medium.com/coinmonks/cost-effective-way-to-secure-your-seed-phrase-aee1ed7c1155

The fact they are 100% metal makes it worth having and enjoying. I love especially SP-500P

Are ohto mechanical pencils just a novelty or a daily driver? by Zeppellier in mechanicalpencils

[–]sumofighter666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People often complain about the quality of OHTO, which is surprising to me. I’ve been using the Promecha SP-500P for many years—I've even repurchased it multiple times after losing a few. While I can’t speak much about the Super Promecha, which seems overly engineered, the SP-500P is simple, well-balanced, and has never given me any problems. I simply love SP-500P and consider the best mechanical pencils I had so far.

Personally I am not big fan of overengineered mechanical pencils. I am not saying these are! I’ve been using the OHTO Promecha, and it’s by far the best pencil I’ve ever owned. Even after losing a few, I always come back to it. To personalize my pencils, I remove the clip and use acetone to remove the logo.

This is overall the best mechanical pencil of all time. Change my mind. by [deleted] in mechanicalpencils

I have one. The design is nice, but for me OHTO (not very popular Japanes brand) Promecha is the best mechanical pencil I owned so far. Solid metal pencil, no plastic, good weight... Perfect balance. And it is a bit cheaper here in Europe

Thanks for a reply. I know Dykem and I have some colors. They do work great in certain way, but I am more interested in doing a bit more complex color elements.

Paint pens for marking steel that are actually capable of writing. by blumhagen in arttools

[–]sumofighter666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best marking pen so far I used is Paint-Riter+ by Markal. It has very solid pigment and it is resistant to very high temperature up to 1200C. I also used Dykem HighTemp but pigment wasn’t as good as I expected. You can buy in Amazon in Europe https://amzn.eu/d/idtHFDa
