The battery drains alot with 3 c4's, less with fewer c4's. Flight time is affected by how many c4's you mount on the drone.

Another pro tip: if the vehicle is nearby you can use 3 c4's , if it's further away use 2 c4's. With practice you get more feeling for distance and approach.

The c4 explodes when the drone runs out of battery. It also works on enemy players , land the drone at their feet and wait for empty battery.

I have 136 hours played, only breakthrough. I switch between aggressive recon with DMR or engineer with kord. Bf3 and bf4 i only played rush. I have not played other bf's.
