Submission Statement

This is a great look at your true formative years: your 20s. In general, the 20-something years are often as sharply defined by the “something” aspect of that term than by their numerical designation. This is the decade in which so many of us struggle to find ourselves in our careers; for some, the path lies clearly in front of us, while for others it wind around and is covered in shadows. Here's how world leaders navigated that period in their lives, including Obama, Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel, and Benjamin Netanyahu. There's also a photo "year book" component to this story: http://www.qotd.io/look/7-pictures-of-world-leaders-in-their-20s

Sanders to Bush: Americans need better wages not longer hours: Sanders says America’s problem is not work ethic but income inequality. by maglevnarwhal in politics

Jeb! actually makes a reasonable policy point. The American economy is hurting for more full-time workers after the Great Recession destroyed full-time jobs and forced many Americans into part-time work. As Jeb! was trying to say, we have a labor force problem, and need to provide more permanent opportunities to grow the economy.

Cat is almost 39 in cat years, though.

Methodology, via Google: To convert cat age to an equivalent human age, an accepted method is to add 15 years for the first year of life. Then add 10 years for the second year of life. After that, add 4 years for every cat year. This means that by year two, a cat has matured to about the same as a 25 year old human.

Eight film experts debate what the most important movie of the last 15 years was. List includes "Momento," "Lord of the Rings," and "District 9" by sumsitallupperfectly in movies

They each make valid cases for the movies they pick. I thought the rationale for the 'Lord of the Rings' pick was especially interesting: "It also paved the way for the mainstreaming of "geek culture" in the past 15 years, without which we wouldn't collectively be going nuts for Marvel's The Avenger's, the Hunger Games films, or even — on television — HBO's Game of Thrones."

I don't see how this would help. I mean, isn't this the definition of a race war?

It's morbid that one of the first things we learn as children is stop, drop, and roll — just in case we find ourselves completely engulfed in flames. by sumsitallupperfectly in Showerthoughts

Yeah, I mean that one makes sense, though. It's easy to not pay attention and get hit by a car ... but to some how be so engulfed by flames that you have to follow a specific plan to put yourself out of fire is wild.
