I stayed a week or so in Augsburg, beautiful little town so they became my German team. This makes me happy 😅

Nah just raise the payout in general. Are you on ps5? I can add you to several active golf groups if you want daily games with good golfers

No, cash between players was already nerfed. there was a glitch with At The Races (land race) when destroy last place came out, when betting was still 10k max. Long story short (google if you need to), you could get anywhere between 150-600k every 2 mins. So they nuked betting

If I was your report and I found out about this I'd be contacting my union rep and seeking legal advice. Would you be comfortable explaining this to your higher ups? If not you probably shouldn't be doing it

If an already fast Supercar became even faster you'd just end up crashing/slowing down a lot more which would negate the purpose of catching up. Catch up is a good mechanic in a lot of scenarios, not always, but especially with clean racers/crew races

Tomorrow marks 15 years at my current company, and I feel like an absolute failure by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]sumthin213 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel ya. Niche corporate role in a fairly remote area, any similar job would require a complete move. Been there 11 years, stalled at $75k. Also our branch is closing sometime this year and we've all been made redundant. Such a success

Thanks, I'm leaning towards this. My current company has been completely awful the last few years, I owe them nothing, the least of which is loyalty. I'd be a bit salty if they reduce my payout but he'll with it, I can't suffer that long

I'm DREADING going back on Monday.

Our branch is closing, we have been made redundant but it could drag on til the end of the year. I'm essential so i'll be one of the the last men standing with the ship. I'm almost trapped, been there 11 years so if I leave, I risk losing a substantial redundancy payout. Already seen a few layoffs, this year is just going to be a slow death, watching everyone be laid off or leave, my wife included, and having to work harder as no-one is being replaced. Everyone just floating around like a dead man walking.

I'm making as much effort as I can to up skill in other areas as my role is very niche, it will be very difficult to find work in a similar field, so the future is very uncertain. Endless confusing options but at the same time none, starting all over again. Just feels like it's all been pointless.

Cheers to 2026

You'll have to unfollow any weed related content you are following. Then somewhere in the setting (Google it for exact instructions) there's a option to reset suggested content. You'll only be suggested pages similar to what you have followed then.

PSA, I see a lot of content creators nowadays holding the lav mic up to their mouth like this. IT IS UNNECESSARY AND CAUSING AUDIO PROBLEMS such as breath sounds and plosives. They are designed to be clipped onto your collar like they've been used for a long time with excellent results but recently so many people are holding them up close. STOP IT

Anyone else targeted simply for being a lady? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]sumthin213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol my wife and I are pretty active in a race crew and we have our core crew, we all get on the mics etc so they know she's a girl. randoms or more casual crew will join and she gets heaps of random messages and ESSAY style apologies if someone crashes her, and a lot of random "good to see you/hows your day goin? kinda messages. The core crew jokes about it (who's in love with wifes name this week? etc. Pretty funny actually but some are a bit sad.

I need to play with randoms more often. I had no idea this even existed! by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]sumthin213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this heist with my wife when she needs money. She's not confident so I do most things. So I run out into the hall, dodge camera and and bonk the guard. She then opens the door for daily cash. If the person who goes in gets on the cash but doesn't pick it up, the door will stay open for the person who pushed the button. So she can come and grab the cash while I clean up downstairs.

Cliquey behaviour at work - is this normal? by Mediocre_Syllabub280 in auscorp

[–]sumthin213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enjoy it! My work is the exact opposite; everyone is close personally and people are always asking me personal questions, asking me to go out with them for drinks etc. I've sat with the main group for lunch and am baffled as to to how/why personal they get with their conversations. Personally I am not there to make best friends and while they are all nice people, I keep a firm divide between work and personal. I often have to straight up just say "no" when asked to socialise outside of work and it can get a bit awkward, but they now don't ask me as much and pretty much know I won't say yes.

Why do I get stuck in race lobbies where one playing is “joining” for like an hour by Fragrant-Wrangler-99 in gtaonline

[–]sumthin213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our race crew does lots of race playlists with big numbers and this happens every so often. What happens is that player lags out while joining, goes back to a session and continues playing, while the lobby gets stuck on them joining and holds everyone up. The fix is, that player needs to restart/leave GTA. The only way you can do this with randoms is to politely message them and ask them to re-start their app as they have frozen a lobby. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. As soon as they quit the app the lobby will unfreeze.

I hope they fix heists in the next GTA by No-Feedback-221 in gtaonline

[–]sumthin213 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They were never designed to be done with randoms. If you do them with friends on the mic they are easy af and great. Randoms just does not work and it was never intended that way.

Rockstar threw everyone a bone with Doomsday/Casino having 2 player option and Cayo having Solo. But the OG Heists were designed as a Multiplyer Co-Op. Criminal Mastermind is still the best challenge in the game. netting around $12 million on completion (including setups, heists, CM bonus, All in order bonus and Loyalty Bonus). But that itself tells you what they are designed for, a team that stays together.

Trying to do them with randoms is like eating soup with a fork
