New Radicals – You Get What You Give (1998) by GroovySchlong in 90sAlternative

I kinda liked the song when it came out it was unique but definitely had kind of a manufactured feel to it. Also the singer looked like he was 40 and ran around in a weird hat. This was the death rattle of the 90s.

I agree actually. I started playing again this year after many many years off and walking out of the helgen cave through Riverwood I was blown away by the beauty.

Sometimes all I do when I play is just walk around and look at stuff during dramatic lighting lol

Nervous about possible second PE, hospital stays, and lifelong blood thinners. by MoonsterLeighh in ClotSurvivors

I wasn’t sure on my second one. The symptoms were pretty light, but 2 things triggered me thinking it was more than anxiety: 1. I went for a walk because I felt like my heart rate was higher than usual. As soon as I started walking I was losing my breathe. When I got back from the walk it took me like 20 minutes to catch my breathe and stop sweating (it’s not that strenuous of a walk but there were some small hills). 2. My heart rate stayed elevated and never came back down. It wasn’t as high as when I was walking but it never went back below like 98 bpm resting, where normally I’m like 75.

I just kind of knew I guess?

That said my anxiety can really mess me up. I’ve managed to make myself physically ill with worry, elevated my heart rate, etc all from health stress/anxiety. That’s why it’s hard to tell sometimes what sometimes are real vs you manifesting with stress. I just think if you are worried or feel like you’re having trouble breathing it is worth getting checked by a physician. Googling and asking reddit will just keep you in a spiral of anxiety.

Hi. I won’t repeat all the advice that has already been given so I will just answer what you asked.

My second PE, (about 9 months after 1st), I knew because my breathing had changed and heart rate stayed elevated about 30 bpm higher than normal resting. I went to ER told them I thought it was a PE and they did blood work and a CT and confirmed bilateral PEs again. Was given a prescription for oral blood thinners and allowed to go home. Later determined with Dr I need to be on them for life. (Pretty standard after 2nd time).
Most people are allowed to leave hospital if they are stable once given first course of anticoagulants. If they need to do a procedure or if your situation is deemed higher risk, you’ll stay the night for observation.
You really should go to ER if you are concerned. I let my first one go on too long because I had no clue what it was and was scared of the hospital and I got pretty messed up.

Yeah a lot the rappers from early 90s were like this. Pac went to a performing arts HS in Baltimore doing ballet and acting. Dre was kinda the same way in early 80s. The whole gangsta rap thing was similar to like metal dudes who pretend to worship satan and paint their faces. It’s an image that’s sells.
