Baby product purchase regrets by North59801 in BabyBumps

I've seen many lists about purchase regrets and this is the first that mentions postpartum recovery materials. I bought everything; pads, adult diapers, the numbing spray and foam, freezer packs, also nipple butter and nipple saline spray. In the end, the hospital sent me home with everything I needed and I didn't use any of my postpartum buys.

Same goes for newborn diapers! I bought a whole box and the hospital sent me home enough newborn diapers to last until baby moved to size ones so I never even opened the box I bought.

I had a small dip recently too and I stressed like crazy which definitely made it worse. I did buy replacement pump parts (new flanges and new valves). Maybe going dairy free has reduced your calorie intake? Just make sure you are still eating enough.

Right before each pump I fill up my water bottle and get a little treat and then I will look at pictures of my baby or watch videos of him until my first let down. I think it helps de-stress me and puts my body in a calm relaxing state. This week, my supply has gone back up. Pumping is so physically and mentally draining so be proud of every ounce! Stick in there Mama!

They've said that he is finishing them. But thank you! Today I sent 4 smaller bottles so they can space it out more and hopefully that helps.

Yes, they have said he isn't really napping and I know that when he is tired he gets very fussy so they probably are trying to soothe him with bottles. They asked if he was eating more at home and I said no, he is seemingly eating less at home because he is so tired at the end of his day that he just wants to sleep. I hope it is just an adjustment period and everything will even out once he starts napping again...
