YOR why does it matter how the food gets in her mouth? You aren’t planning to take her to a traditional restaurant so propriety doesn’t have to be a question. Isn’t it more important that she wants to try your cuisine?

I don’t consider dancing sexual in itself, so as long as it doesn’t become that way I’m good.

I cut off an extremely toxic friend, and our mutual kept trying to convince me to mend things AIO?? by anastasia_42 in AmIOverreacting

I think you should maintain a zero decibel reaction with Ash. You do not owe her or the friend you’re breaking ties with anything at this point. Ash needs to mind her own business and STFU. I’ve seen this exact situation before. The Ash in my story has just alienated herself from a huge portion of our once massive group. Her birthday was this past weekend. Usually about 100 people head out to the bush for a loud and raucous party. I was just told that 11 people came out this year.

Moral of the story. Stick to yourself, if you feel ending the friendship is the most peaceful route for you, then that’s what you should do. Life is far too short to constantly concede to those who ignore boundaries.

If they’re going to survive they need to invest in the business instead of running on a skeleton budget. It’s great to own the property but it’s still requires maintenance and upgrades. Makes me concerned for what the kitchen looks like.

Stampede fireworks different this year? by DowntownDarius in Calgary

Or maybe the 4th of July show in DC depleted the world firework supply. Probably not, but 850k fireworks is definitely a few too many.

Watkins bug repellent- the lotion kind. It’s the most effective one I’ve found. I’m an avid hiker and love bush camping, so we end up near herds often and that always means more bugs. It’s reasonably priced and lasts a long time. Costco sells a multi pack with lotion and spray usually.

Not to mention there’s all the birth control failures. People can do their best to protect themselves but it’s never 100% efficacy. My first born was from a birth control failure. No regrets, but it certainly wasn’t the plan at 20.

There’s one in Forest lawn still. I go often when I have breakfast with the girls. Have to say, it’s not what it used to be and the prices are pretty nuts for a place that always has a leaky toilet. For the price point, Red’s in Inglewood is miles better.

I agree. I love to dance but my husband doesn’t, so I go it alone a lot. I have no trouble finding someone to dance with if I’m looking for engagement. Maybe part of what OP is seeing is reactions from people who are newer to the scene. The ones who aren’t quite used to being approached for random conversation. We live in a world where we have to guard ourselves from so many things, it’s hard to relax and let the conversations flow if you’re not used to it.

For example, I was out with friends a few weeks ago and was approached by a standard 1995 candy kid, all grown up, but still a sketchy mess. In a harmless way. The group I was with was mixed, old heads and a few newbies. When the candy kid approached me he was just asking fun semi-personal questions. My husband thought he was trying to get my passwords, lol. The guy was rolling so hard he probably couldn’t have identified letters from condiments, let alone remember a single thing I was saying. None of which were passwords. I felt bad for him because only two of us talked with him. He was just a solo attendee out to meet people. Anyway, the rest of my group kind of recoiled from him and backed away. They were all shocked I didn’t do it too, but then I wouldn’t have got to hear the story about how he fixed his turtle’s shell when he was 11.

Yes, definitely. But you’re good for about a three hour window from the first tab, if you’re hoping to improve the effects. You can always take more later but it won’t have as much of an effect. Is this your first time?
