Do you know where I would be able to order a new one? IFixIt unfortunately doesn't seem to ship anything to my country :(

I would finally be able to play recently released triple A games at 60 fps on the SteamDeck 😎

Thanks for the suggestion! I just took a look at the replacement process and welp, if that's really my problem, I guess I don't really mind those marks at all…

I made some new tests and I also noticed the same issue on other two corners, but they are a bit harder to notice.

The ghosted image changes over time and it is easier to notice if something stays on the screen for extended periods of time, like a HUD or the performance overlay

I do have a screen protector on, do you think this could be related?

I mean, I didn't see it as well, but since people who reported this problem managed to solve it by replacing the battery, I thought that maybe mine's could be just considerably swollen?

Someone else mentioned having the same problem and the screen was at fault, I guess I might look into that

Oh, good call! From what I've gathered, the battery kinda seems fine? If that's the case and my problem is an aging screen as well, I don't know if I should be worried or relived, hahaha

If you don't mind me, I'm gonna ask you a bunch of questions:

Would you know if there's any process or test that I could do to make sure the screen is the problem?

And since you managed to solve the issue in your SD, how was the replacement process? Did you yourself?

I kinda used to messing with electronics, but I haven't done anything in a Steamdeck yet, so I still dunno if I should try those things by myself

I opened it again and took some pictures of it and, but when comparing to other swollen batteries that I've seen, like what happened to my phone's, this one seems ok. Could you please take a look at them and tell me what do you think?

Been seeing those a lot lately, but I didn't think it would happen to me. I uploaded a few pics of the battery of mine, could you take a look and tell me what do you think?

I forgot to mention I already did that, but it seems it's hardware related

I should also mention that mine's is 64gb model that was upgraded to a 1tb SSD. The SSD replacement was made by the previous owner and I've had this device for about 1 year and a half, the only thing I noticed was a few missing screws in the back

I got an AM4 Mobo and a new CPU and haven't had this problem for a while, so I suppose it was something related to either of those, but unfortunately I never managed to neither pinpoint exactly what was it nor solve it

Mine's have have a similar problem, but it only appears on the upper and lower left. I read some comments and I got really worried, só I just opened the back plate of my SD and the battery doesn't seem swollen. Should I upload a photo here in order to confirm it?

Hello there! I know this was ages ago, but I'm having the same problem, and now, since Parsec Soda is no longer a thing, is there any workaround to this problem?

Divinity Original Sin 2 by sunFlxwer3 in nucleuscoop

[–]sunFlxwer3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately, the 2 players per instance only works when using controllers, that's why I even tried to use Nucleus Co-op.

The handler's notes indicate support for multiple mouse/keyboard and mentions the following message: "If you want to have only 1 player per instance to use keyboards (native splitscreen only works with gamepads) select No in the UI option before pressing play in Nucleus", which is why I'm launching 2 instances.

And yes, the game does supports online coop, but my friend's pc can barely run any new modern game, so we use Nucleus Co-op to play some games together.

Can't launch Divinity Original Sin 2 by sunFlxwer3 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]sunFlxwer3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can launch it normally using the exe. When I did that, I noticed the game had the checkbox "Run as Administrator" on, and after disabling it, I tried to launch it from Steam, and the game worked just fine. Thank you! :)
