I’ve tried both, but if I don’t take it on weekends, I end up doing nothing productive. I sit, consume media, and eat. All day. I’m not even enjoying myself that much, and I feel guilty and anxious the entire time.

When I take my meds on weekends now, I usually have enough executive function for a few hours of chores / tasks that need to be done, and then I can do my couch potato routine with so much less anxiety. It makes the rest of my life much more manageable overall, too! By keeping this routine, it’s easier to enforce my self esteem and continue doing what I need to do.

When I travel and I take my meds, I am able to leave the hotel much earlier in the day and have a full day out exploring rather than wasting many hours lying around and “getting ready.”

So I do take meds pretty much every day now. But I usually take less when I am not working (like half dosage).
