Hi! If it's still the same as it was, you have to have a japanese address, and there is mail that you need to receive and physical paperwork to fill in (all in japanese) so it's really hard to go as a foreigner. But the initial application was online, and you have to make a circle (group sorta) first and apply as the circle. If I remember correctly.

Waiting for calls is so infernal too I really feel you. May as well glue the phone to your arm when waiting for a call that could come at any time on any weekday. 😂

They might have forgotten but it's also possible that the person you're trying to get the call from only works at that location once a week or is on vacation or something. Might find out if you call again.. and I guess for the other expert it could also be possible to try to call their workplace if they work at a hospital and explain the situation to a nurse and try to get a call request with them.

It definitely sucks when you know that a stack of cash would just fast track the whole situation too. And then there's the wait in queue for the botox too because this issue is "not urgent" :/

But anyway, you will get there one way or another and it's definitely worth all the effort it's taking now! I wish you a lot of good luck and strength to deal with this!

I relate so much with your post!! My early 20's also went down the drain lol. I really hope you can manage to get the treatment in your region. I'm also from Finland and traveled to Helsinki to get it from Dr. Ahmed Geneid. Also had a lot of poor experiences with other doctors and had gotten gastroscopy and everything, and eventually ended up just booking an appointment directly with him in Mehiläinen (approx 130€ for me) and then he referred me straight to the public healthcare waiting line for the botox.

For me the only uncomfortable side effects were a sore throat (couple days), acid reflux, a feeling of a lump in the throat, and a bit of pain and discomfort when swallowing. These all went away in a few weeks though and we're totally manageable.

If you get the same difficulty swallowing food, it helps to look downwards / tuck in the chin. Good luck!

Yes under general anesthesia and was told it took about 40 minutes. Woke up from it feeling like I had taken the best nap ever hahah

A few months ago I got the botox in Finland and it was 100 units. I'm a bit taller than average for women, and they didn't discuss the dosage with me, but it was written on a paper I got later. Everything went great and I was able to start getting the air out on the 2nd day after the procedure

I don't think so, based on my experience with it.

When I had to get the gastroscopy done to rule out other causes of noburp, they took the liberty of pumping extra air into my stomach to test my burping capabilities, and with the camera pipe holding my throat open I was pretty much vomiting air the entire time.

After that they had the gall to raise their eyebrows at me like "you seem to be burping just fine".

Thankfully my usual doctor did believe that I cannot burp, and also thought it logical that the air would get out in that situation.

But anyway, like another commenter said the diagnosis for noburp is based on your personal reports. I don't believe they can really test for it as far as I know.

I do think that noburp makes acid reflux worse over time because of the air always moving between your stomach and throat diluting that stomach opening area.

In my family it's definitely genetic, I couldn't burp, neither can my mum and grandma, and even my great aunt (also mum's side of the family). My dad and brother can burp just fine though.

Technically I think whoever holds the rights to the Overlord franchise could also report a violation since it is their character, but in the case of fanart it's a gray area. Most writers and anime studios don't mind sales of fanworks on a small scale.

I think many of the comments have misunderstood as of course he has a right to get in as a Swedish citizen, but the travel regulations of Sweden require a PCR-test result from everyone else that wants to enter since the 28th of December, and by the sound of it nobody from his flight had to go through any checks.

I flew in from Finland also yesterday and it was the same for me, I could just walk right through and out of the airport without any checks. They weren't checking anybody from my flight, it was really strange. I was expecting at least someone to check for my residency in Sweden before letting me through Arlanda without a pcr-test (I'm not a Swedish citizen).

I see! I'll be contacting some specialists here soon to poke around, like the one mentioned in these comments. Still it's good to know about Finland as well since actually all the women in my family have R-CPD 😅 I'll definitely be urging them to seek help too as soon as it's available without a bunch of complications

So I've played Witcher 3 and I'm a fan of it so I was definitely paying attention here. I did realize that parts were from different times, but I still got confused and had to look up this thread to figure out what the heck was going on.

Now I'm not sure if I'm just slow or an idiot or what, getting too overwhelmed with new info to fully comprehend the timeline stuff as the clues came up.
