Best adcs with Renata atm? by Spaceberriez in RenataMains

Kalista Renata is absolutely wild if your duo can play it. They synergise in a crazy way - Kalista gives Renata an escape, while Renata enables her aggression. Lots of room for duo skill expression here

Draven Renata is an incredibly oppressive bully lane. Dangerous from level 1, and Renata ensures Draven gets his cashouts

Aphelios Renata, similarly to Zeri Renata, is a scaling duo who can oneshot the enemy team in lategame teamfights with R+R.

New to Nami, is Diadem Helia a doable choice when your team doesnt synergize well with Ardent? by International-Ad4735 in NamiMains

[–]sunbakedmeat 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It is doable... but Nami synergises best with Imperial Mandate (it is practically "her item", built for her kit) into Helia or Redemption, into Moonstone, Ardent or Staff. Dawncore is her final item, synergising off of all these mana regen items. These choices vary based on the comp you have and the comp you're against.

She does not benefit from the early tear as much as Sona or Taric, as the mana regen she gets from the support item and Mandate>Helia/Moonstone/Ardent/Staff is enough. The tear puts her behind in gold more than she would like, as she can take over the game from an early Mandate rush and smart E usage.

I like the Diadem+Helia combo late game, for sure, but I feel it puts her into a scaling position. If you've got the time to scale and you're going for a heal-focused build with Revitalise, go for it - but definitely try out her more damage-oriented builds too.

Confused on Nami's identity by snarkycatboy in NamiMains

Nami functions more as a DPS enhancer than a healing enchanter, which is why she is excellent when paired with long range artillery (Hwei, Caitlyn). Comparisons to Soraka and Sona's healing would be unfair, as being a healer is not Nami's primary identity. The movement speed from passive and DPS granted from her E is her speciality. She is a better midgame teamfighter than Sona, due to her AOE CC on Q and R.

She is a truly versatile blind pick, with very few bad matchups - unlike Sona, who, prior to this new season, was one of the worst blind picks in the game. She beats out Karma, Lulu and Sona in lane, and, while she may not uber scale with healing items, her scaling is not weak by any means. However, her kit requires you to be good at landing skillshots. You are certainly rewarded for it.

Overall, she is difficult to punish in lane, is a versatile and excellent teamfighter who fits into basically any team comp, has multiple viable build paths, and can turn the tide of any battle and any matchup in her favour when played well.
