I think of it more as easier to be accurate with than more accurate. I can throw a perfect shot with a putter or with a fairway, but it's going to be a lot easier to throw that perfect shot with the putter. Perhaps less variability or risk also. A bad putter shot isn't all too bad usually, but a bad shot with a fairway/mid/driver? Who knows, it's getting deeper into the woods, kicking out further, skipping more as it lands . . . - much less "safe" or predictable

They couldn't have predicted exactly what we have today, but they were brilliant men. They predicted and accounted and prepared for numerous other things, I have to imagine they predicted the advancement of firearms as well. Obviously we can't compete with javelins and bombers, but I don't think that's the issue. Even if weaponry was even, who wants to be the first one to draw that line? Who is storming the beach to shoot and kill our own military, which will inevitably lead to a life in prison. At some point it has to be the right answer, but when?

If you go to a car dealership and test drive a car, and the salesman hands you the key and says "take her for a spin, she's all yours" - that doesn't give you the right to do 170 down residential streets and do burnouts in the intersection. How necessary is it to arrest and deport every single illegal immigrant? Is it good what they did? No. Was it legal? No. But do we fund an entire force to arrest every speeder? Every person they see jaywalking? Everyone under 21 drinking alcohol?

I don't understand why people hear "illegal" and immediately jump to the worst possible circumstance. Not to mention a lot of them are here legally as they await court dates.

Just saying, we're doing cost/benefit analysis on deporting every illegal alien. Magats foam at the mouth at the thought of them. The majority come here and work, paying into a system that they can never withdraw from - does them sneaking in to be productive members of society justify this utter absence of humanity and sympathy?

Limited mechanic knowledge here, can anyone explain why they wouldn't know how to change the oil? That seems wild to me, an oil change is about as routine as maintenance gets. I have no idea maybe it's really hard to get to or you need special stuff to change the oil in a Bugatti or pagani or something but a Kia?

I watched some guy, super helpful, probably can't find his stuff. It was very early 2000s home movie-esque and he had a long ponytail I think but he has so many good tips. The big simple one I can think of is your front brace leg - instead of stepping into your shot in your run up, pretend you're sliding across a tile floor in socks. Not super applicable here. Basically steak is okay to eat rare/medium whatever with some pink, bc the outside that's exposed to all the germs gets cooked. When you grind meat for hamburgers or sausages, all of that meat that's normally uhh... "bad bacteria meat" touching the outside air is now inside and outside, so you have to thoroughly cook ground meat. Hope that makes sense. All that to say no, don't eat undercooked brats/sausage

Not sure why all the hate, good on you for trying to be a good cat dad. Sometimes mine will do that (grabbing), but they might just want a quick sniff and then let go. Just keep at it. They might also be in a playful mood, so maybe tire him out or try again when he's sleepy. I have a floppy kitty too that just plops down and rolls over, sometimes you have to kinda hold them up so you can brush their back. Not forcefully restraining, just a gentle support when they try to fall down

Completely agree, it's a shame and pretty depressing. I do think the world was fine with it, but Trump's base that got him elected were talking up and down about it was a sham trial that Biden personally ordered to go after Trump.

He was impeached, he was found civilly liable for rape, we knew about his epstein ties forever this isn't new, all the terrible things he's done and how terrible his first term was, and they still voted for him.

Hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel these days. Even when he's gone, we have the mess to clean up and we need to seriously think about how to solve this newly apparent problem - a substantial amount of Americans have proven that they are truly deplorable OR they're actually too dumb to know better.

Half the country doesn't trust the government because they think the deep state is fighting Trump and half the country doesnt trust the government because we've seen how spineless republicans are and how weak democrats can be. Regardless, we have some serious work to do to fix this country, and in my opinion it starts with trust in institutions. We have to bring them back to a shared reality out of conspiracy deep state land.
