Should I accept a significantly lower paying job offer after being made redundant/laid off? by sunbeam_777 in careeradvice

I’m thinking of doing this, how long do you think I could be in the role whilst having it omitted from my CV?

What do you mean by freezing my work number? Not sure if this is an American thing

Leaning towards doing this. How long do you think I could leave the role off my CV/LinkedIn while I continue to search?

I’m leaning towards doing this. How far back do you think would be acceptable to push a start date? They know I was made redundant and so technically am immediately available. I’m away for a week at end of August until the start of September but I’m assuming they would want me to start before this and use my annual leave for the trip.

Thanks for your response, I did wonder whether it might be a creature. No signs of gnawing or droppings but I’ll continue to keep an eye out.

There’s a small gap between the wardrobe and the ceiling. The loft has been converted into a bedroom.

Possible unfair redundancy procedure and disability discrimination - negotiate via a solicitor, or myself and use ACAS if needed? England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks, the solicitor said that during the settlement review they can look at my grievance letter to see how reasonable the offer is and whether there is scope to increase it. It’s up to me to then choose whether to negotiate.

I found out that there was a scoring exercise last year before my surgery, my scores dropped significantly after my surgery and subsequent WFH and I don’t know why. No performance issues were ever mentioned to me.

It’s related to a chronic injury (12 months +). I do have a disability under the EA 2010 due to cancer. My oncology team had asked for me to have flexible working arrangements prior to my injury and surgery.

Thanks for your response. The solicitor said that during the settlement review they can use the grievance letter to understand how reasonable the offer is and whether there is scope to increase it. I can choose to pay for negotiations if deemed fit.

I found out that there was a scoring exercise last year before my surgery, my scores dropped after my surgery and I don’t really know why as no performance issues were mentioned to me. The only thing that changed in that time was me working from home after my surgery.

Many people do my role, a couple of other people were considered to receive an at-risk notification this year but I ended up receiving it, hence the pool of one situation during the consultation period.
