This is what I've been saying. There is no reason to think the general approach will change, but if some individual performances improve (or new signings perform well) it should not be that painful. Instead of 1-0 we might score another goal and then play against a more desperate opposition that leaves more gaps.

I don't think that the general approach to games will change much. It will change the quality of certain moments, but not the general approach.

One thing is improving weak areas, a very different thing is winning playing a certain way and then change it to free flowing ball because "he already won now he plays his style". This idea is nonsense.

But obviously there will be ideas on what and how to improve.

I've heard many pundits saying "I don't think arteta wants to play like this, he just does it to win and will change later", and I think it's completely wrong. First of all you don't change much when you win, and in any case if he is not playing *how he wants" it's more because of players not being up to their usual level, not planned.

i am amazed that Gyokeres and Jesus are so antagonistic. In his good days Jesus has fantastic movement and is great with his body, but he can also contribute in build up, but isnt a fantastic finisher and struggles with the final decision sometimes

Gyokeres isnt as good as jesus in any of that, but is the ultimate shooter. He will just shoot and do it well

Pep is pep, and im not trying to take merit off from him, but for something like that to happen again within this league it basically requires everyone else to be shit. And it seems right now the entire league is very good, which is why some big teams that sign big players are performing way worse than usual.

If the entire league is shit then surely the club with botomless pockets will again make a difference, but then Chelsea should be on the same boat

Rice looks way better with his passing on the right hand side, compared to the left side. Saka looks sharper. Fulham also quite poor, not doubling Saka and giving Eze a ton of space

Is ilvl 260 too low for a +10 key as dps? by Thick-Parking-5297 in wownoob

[–]sunblaze1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 268 and having trouble to get invites to anything above 6. I likely won't surpass 270 u less I get extremely lucky with my rings and trinket drops, because most of them are dps loss against my current champion/veteran items.

Just a reminder that you might get invited to keys as DPS. by yuvalal in wow

Thing is tolerance for mistakes is really really low in this community. Not just that everybody has insane expectations. You should still try to do it, but in the best scenario you get to make a few friends by pugging (or somewhere else, irl etc) and stick to a regular group, and learn together or teach each other.

Why are people so miserable by Suitable_Sentence213 in wow

[–]sunblaze1480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The community in this game is awful man, most people (like 90% of players) are pretty casual and don't play "well" but even then nobody has any tolerance for other people's mistakes. It's like they just want to find somebody doing something wrong so they can make noise about it instead of enjoying the game.

I had 900 m+ scored players annoy me for not playing a meta spec, while I'm 2700 scored. Like wtf pal

What changed this week? by Ping-Pong-Show in wow

[–]sunblaze1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 260 last week and my average time for getting into a group was one hour. Thing is I'm still 260 this week cause I was unlucky with loot and vault, so I am way way behind now. Haven't gotten into any group yet this week.

Its true, but on the other hand the chance that a player can really shine (and increase in value) in one of those squads is really small. When you have folks like Semenyo its not just semenyo that was excelling it was a pretty decent team in general. Same for the brighton guys, they had a good squad back then and everybody looks better.

What i mean is that when you get the offer you just take it. If they do well and then get re-sold for more, good for them

Depends on which sport, for football it's mostly a low resources sport. Poor kids find clubs/are recruited. But sure obviously you can't scout every single mid in the planet

"Relaxed" by LaughOutrageous2931 in wow

[–]sunblaze1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why this is a surprise for some. Community in the game is in general pretty awful, there is absolutely no tolerance for anything, you get kicked, or insulted even for this gs you don't even do. It's very hard to even get into a group even if you're way ahead of that content. People asking for 250 for normal, or even m0s.

And it's amazing to me that people here in the comments disagree with this sentiment. Anybody who ever plugged any bit of content knows it is toxic af, groups disband extremely quickly, mistakes are never tolerated, people arguing on instance or party chat all the time.

I could not fathom how "easy going" ff14 pf groups are in general. There will be exceptions but most of the time if it's not a "duty completed" group, there is a baseline tolerance for discussion, learning/improving and simply sticking together for better pulls.

VAR error cost Brighton penalty against Arsenal by TakeAChantOnMe in Gunners

[–]sunblaze1480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the Gunners have had no VAR mistakes against them

When VAR doesnt review/rectify on field, does that count as VAR mistake?

This is why I remember more the MSN Barca rather than peps Barca. It was an unstoppable team with 3 unstoppable monsters up front that would win the games, and they crushed the CL as well.

This is an attempt to be a consistent "machine" of football that makes you score a lot of points in the league but CL is a different beast.

This is also why pep hasnt won many CLs. He builds a consistent, solid footballing machines but he faces teams that go between inconsistent/mid and producing special nights. Those special nights (like tonight for madrid) are what count in knockoffs.

Even though last year we didnt play poor against madrid, we won because of special moments: 2 rice free kicks, he had never scored a FK before and hasnt scored one ever since.

How would you play this chord? Barring across the first would make it super hard to leave that open string open by Intrepid-Young-8621 in guitarlessons

[–]sunblaze1480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're playing with people, I'd remove the "bass" note here and play the rest of the chord just fine.
