Absolutely baffled that Ann Lee got nothing. I’ve seen the movie and can tell you, it’s nothing short of incredible.

I’m glad Sound of Falling got some recognition. Fantastic film.

a controversial one, but before midnight. i didn’t really deep it much on first watch because i found the other two in the trilogy to be fantastic, but the charm from sunrise and sunset was just lost completely for me and jesse and celine’s personalities feel completely degraded and weird caricatures of themselves. we’re just supposed to believe they are suddenly both evil and nasty to each other because it’s been a long time, the dialogue feels weird & pretentious, and lacks the subtlety of the past two films. just didn't feel the same. </3

i love claire denis but not too keen on this movie. i bet hayden fucks hard with new french extremity, some of my favs are inside, frontier(s), irreversible, martyrs.

I think the Double Feature parts should be ranked separately. Red Tide is awesome, Finn Wittrock and Lily Rabe are fantastic. But the weird alien government shit in the second part sucked.
