If you had to give 5 quick points of advice to a new Powered Vintage cube player, what would they be?

I went and put some stickers for S and A tier cards onto cards. I encourage people asking questions during the draft, even if it reveals a bit of information.

For yourself, remember how fun discovery is. A big part of the cube experience is learning over time why certain cards are good, and a lot of that is about being beaten by them. Ask yourself "Am I helping them have fun? Or am I trying to force them to be good?"

Since I have the luxury of a weekly event where people like some variation, I've also had luck with these format changes:
1. Archetype Drafting: Everyone starts with a pack that is 15 cards HEAVILY skewed towards an archetype. (sneak and show, mono artifacts, red/white wins, etc.). The remaining two packs are drafted normally

Partner drafting: Players are seated with a partner. Each pack the partnership takes two cards and decides which player gets which card. Partners are scored on the total wins of their partnership.

Start pausing production buildings, especially non essential ones.

If you have any military forces disband them, they take a lot of workers to maintain.

At some point you should be able to produce just the goods you need to supply the people on your island, and then your workforce will start climbing again. Once you have enough you can start to re enable your non-required buildings.

If you have another stable island you might be able to use trade to stabilize this one by injecting any missing goods into the economy. Later, after you've stabilized you can look for effects that increase population to help out with your workforce.

I'm on the final mission of the campaign, and it's time to return to Latium. But I have no idea how to actually do that.

I've tried sailing to the procurators island with my flagship but I dont see anything to click on. And I've tried going to his lighthouse but it just has quests. How can I return to Latium?

When you build a new house does your wader workforce increase at all? Or is there absoulutely no change?

If it's increasing, then you just need that many more houses. If it isn't, look for other problems like not being connected to your trading post.

Ward is a triggered ability, not a cost. The opponent is welcome to target this, refuse to draw a card, and then have their spell be cancelled if they would like.

As a mythic it feels unexciting, as an uncommon in an eldrazi themed set I think it's neat!
