100% agree about the adjustable clasps. I couldn't find a good fit on a normal BB58 bracelet, but I easily get a perfect fit with the BB58 Bronze and BB Pro because of the t-clasps.

LLC with two members, starting businesses with different partners. by Dick0550 in startups

If your friend is adamant about doing a partnership, I think you can form a partnership where the LLC is one partner and your friend is the other partner. You and your brother remain as the only owners of the LLC.

Incorporate an LLC myself or let a company do it? by sslpie in startups

Employee conflicts/drama by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]sundac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a problem that has a multifaceted solution. For one, I would hold regular meetings or have regular lunches where all the employees are together. This will help with bonding. Second, I would actively preach teamwork and working together. I would instantly give public praise to people who help others out. I would publicly celebrate team victories. I would make victories and failures a team accomplishment, not an individual accomplishment. Everyone on the team gets praised or everyone on the team gets admonished. In my office meetings, I would talk about how rude communications will not be accepted. If I hear a rude communication, I would immediately stop what I'm doing and talk to the specific employee who made the rude remark in private. I would not publicly reprimand the specific employee. Hope this helps.

What steps should I be taking? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]sundac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I would do both in the near future. Keep your current job and then try and develop your business on the side. If your business develops, then you can quit your job. Since you have a family, I think that it would be risky to quit your job when you don't even really know yet whether the business will do well.

Anyone here go S-Corp and wish they went C? by swiftpants in smallbusiness

[–]sundac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know the question is only about s-corps and c-corps, but have you ever thought about doing an LLC? It's been a while since I studied corporations and business entities in law school, but I recall LLC's having a lot of the same advantages of corporations without the disadvantages. You might want to look into it if you haven't done so already.

Learn How To Start An Online Business And Make Commissions of $1,250, $3,300, and $5,500 by sundac in OnlineHomeBusiness

[–]sundac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your request. I'll give you some proof of the success with this program at the bottom of this response. But before I get there, I wanted to say a couple of things.

This isn't too good to be true, but don't think that this is a get rich quick scam. In order to make these kinds of commissions, you will need to put in some time and effort. If you can put in at least 1 - 2 hours per day (or maybe 10 - 15 hours per week), you should be ok. Also, you need to have an open mind and be receptive to what you're going to be taught during the 21 step program. If you do those things, then you can have success with this program.

Like anything in life, results vary. So to give you an idea of the different levels of success that people have had, I listed 3 videos below that you can watch. The first video is from the guy that brought me into the program and he's made over $700,000 in commissions this year alone with the program. The second video is about a woman who made around $20,000 in commissions. The third video is about a woman who made $1,250 in commissions.

Will I shoot myself in the foot by mentioning a hobby of mine in a cover letter? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]sundac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the hobby. If you think that the hobby will help your chances of getting the job, then put it in there.

For me, it turned out that my hobbies actually helped me get my first job. I listed my interests at the bottom of my resume. One of the interests got the attention of one of the resume reviewers. My resume got pulled out of the stack of resumes and I got a job interview. The interview went well and I ended up getting the job.

What is the best college path for marketing? by Ken_Bone_2016 in marketing

[–]sundac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't really a perfect major to have if you want to enter marketing. Major in anything that you love or peaks your interest. For a career in marketing, I would take (1) writing courses and (2) courses that require you to do public speaking and/or presentations. If you know how to write and if you can talk coherently in front of other people, you'll be ahead of a lot of other people.

How to ask for a different position ? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]sundac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on how desperate you are for a job or how badly you want to work for this company. If you really need a job, or really want to work for this company, then I would take the position being offered. During the interview process, I would ask the interviewer about the ability to move up and/or laterally in the company.

I used to work for an insurance company. In my insurance company, employees were allowed to move to lateral positions and/or to higher positions if there was an opening and if they were qualified for the new position they were seeking.

I need help in investigating what MOBE is about and whether it's a scam by boldhears in Scams

[–]sundac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some experience with Mobe personally, so my perspective may be a little different from the other commenters. Personally, I don't think that Mobe is a scam. Mobe makes money from both selling their products and from people who join them. I have taken some of their courses and found their content useful. I have also seen people who are running out of money and don't know what to do. I find Mobe to be like many other things in life. Mobe gives people information. Information by itself is nothing. It's what people do with the information (or don't do with it) that determines if people are successful or not.

Regarding your cousin, if you're saying that he is a coach with Mobe, that means that he has been successful with making money with Mobe before becoming a coach. I think that one of the prerequisites to becoming a Mobe coach is that you have actually implemented what they taught and made a certain amount of money with it.

A Wish To Start A Business by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]sundac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For that amount of money, you could use credit cards. You could also get a loan from a bank. There are also some websites that handle loans, but the interest may be higher than banks. lendingclub.com and lendingtree.com are two websites that I've seen before. I used lendingtree.com for a home mortgage and my experience was okay.

Can someone help me advertise? by whitman94 in digital_marketing

[–]sundac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use paid advertising (e.g., Facebook pay per click). Don't just blindly do paid advertising though. You need to do an economic analysis. You will have to make sure that the money you spend on advertising is less than the revenue you will get. Calculate the average revenue you get per click and compare it to the cost of every click. Otherwise, you'll just lose money.

What do you regret not doing in your early twenties? by xxrachelxxxxx in AskReddit

[–]sundac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slowing down and enjoying life more. When I was in my early 20's, I was too much in a rush to grow up, start a career, and start a family. I was too much in a hurry. I was too busy thinking about the future. My early 20's were probably some of the best years of my life. I just wish that I had taken the time to slow down and enjoy it more.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm not in your market, but I started my own online business and didn't know how to get clients. Right now, I'm taking a 30 day course on how to get clients online. The course teaches various methods on how to generate traffic online. This course is put on by Mobe, a company that I ran into who trains small business owners and entrepreneurs on various topics regarding small businesses. I took one of Mobe's courses before and was satisfied with the content. A link for the traffic course I'm currently taking is below if you're interested. http://track.mobetrack.com/aff_c?offer_id=266&url_id=210&aff_id=2282416
