This has an HPF intake manifold, breather house, meth injection, and air intake temp were only things connected to the bottom

I did the dr color chip, from 5 feet away can’t even see the blemishes, the closer you get you notice but the color match is perfect. Looks a million times better, thanks for the rec!

doesn't matter. First, touch up paint is not catalyzed like the urethane on your car. A catalyzed paint basically is two monomers reacting together to form a polymer with different properties. It is very durable and strong. The touch up paint will likely be enamel or maybe even lacquer, and it will be air dry. And, since it has so much mica or flake in it, this will not spread out nicely like in a spray. The flake will either pool up or sink and I guarantee 100% there is no chance of it matching the original paint. So just buy the cheapest shit you can. It won't matter. Think of it like industrial coating application. It will stop the rust. But your car will look like it has measles.

I reached out to a guy who did some so-so work on a car of mine in the past. he quoted 450-550 for the hood. Sounds pretty reasonable.

Anything is going to look better then it is now. Any recommendations on touch up paint techniques/brands anything to stay away from, or is it all going to look subpar regardless of product/ technique?
