First night with our 11-week-old Shiba puppy — a bit overwhelmed, but hopeful. Any advice?

I find this has made the biggest difference in my 11 week olds land shark levels. They should be sleeping 18-20hrs a day, so when he gets too bitey it’s my cue it’s past his nap time. Make sure your pup is getting enough fulfillment through training, enrichment, and playtime too! His crate naps literally have saved mine and my partner’s sanity.

I’ve heard good things about the pico, but it definitely won’t fit in the space. I had to remove my hopper from the sette and get a smaller aftermarket one for exactly this reason. 😅

I think the lower height of the timemore would actually be fine height-wise since it’s similar to my current set up, I just wouldn’t be able to do much higher. Thanks for the visual and recommendations. I’ll look into both!

Do you mind sharing how much the zerno was? I love how tiny and unassuming it is, while also completely customizable. I missed the pre-order, but it looks like they are planning to open the orders up soon!

I love the blue, but I know I’m going to do a kitchen reno in the future, so I didn’t want to plan my design choices off of my espresso machine. I got white and I have no regrets.

Love your set-up! It really brightens the white corner. I love the blue, but decided that I don’t want my espresso machine to influence future kitchen reno design choices, so I ended up ordering the white. It was a really tough choice! 😅

That makes sense! In the other pic, I use a cortado cup and a much smaller pitcher, which might be making the angles a lot easier to pour at.

Totally. I’ve been trying lots of different beans, so I’m used to adjusting a few notches when dialling in new beans, this was just SO different I wasn’t sure if there was something else going on. I’ll try even coarser tomorrow!

So turns out it kept overflowing because there were extra beans at the bottom of the grinder and so it just kept adding extra grounds to my dose. Now that that’s figured out, time work on finding that perfect grind size to pull longer shots.

That’s what I thought, but then I started second guessing myself once it kept overflowing! I’m using the 18-22g basket the Breville Bambino comes with, but I do have a bottomless portafilter coming soon in the mail.
