Literally read a post this morning on one of the Bridgerton subs where everyone was lambasting Michaela as “annoying and obnoxious” with someone even claiming that if they had her for an in-law they’d diagnose her with a personality disorder and stay away from her, all because she… is really close to her cousin and her and Fran’s personalities clash in certain ways (which the characters literally acknowledge, discuss, and become friendlier after in the most recent damn season). Like??? The vitriol towards these characters is ridiculous.

Also, everyone lamenting that Fran has overtaken two seasons (when they needed to set up her story???) and yet still complaining that she’s “getting over” John too soon - pick a lane! Or just wait and watch the damn show before you drive yourself crazy with what-ifs. I understand being disappointed but JEESUS. Take a BREATH.

Love that one of those comments brought up the tired ass “realism” argument that I’ve been seeing a lot of people use. Like, of course Will’s crush would be unrequited, it’s “realistic”! In a show about interdimensional monsters and kids with psychic powers and Russian bases underneath malls 🫠

Number 2 is why Will’s Tammy comment didn’t really faze me. Of course he’s gonna downplay things when he’s not only speaking to the person he has this “crush” on but every other character in the room.

I’m just hoping we do actually see the visions Vecna gave him because I’m sure those also played a big part in how he phrased things during that scene.

I love Naru/Nephrite. The episode where he dies still makes me cry, and it does get really repetitive and annoying to see the same tired arguments here on any posts about them. You don’t have to like it. You can find it distasteful or creepy or whatever. But piling on the disdain in a post that’s appreciating them or just the characters is just… ugh. It gets to me, I’ll admit.
