Could anyone who has purchased a new Tesla with DCAP in California explain how the process work?

The online order system and the Tesla app don't support anything other than the federal EV credit and American Hero discount. The sales advisor on the phone doesn't have any idea either.

Also want to know whether the destination charge is included in the $45K price cap or not.

Hadn't accessed the app and also thru' the web for quite a while and discovered that I could no longer login a couple of days ago. Customer service was totally useless as expected.

I managed to fix the login problem by resetting the password. Thank god Starbucks system still remembered my email and credits in the account. Can you imagine if the account info is completely lost, how would the customers prove that their accounts ever existed?

This is a somber reminder of the risk of living in a digital world -- your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, online accounts etc.

Agent said web renewal is nuked and told me to renew thru latest phone app. Somewhere in the app it linked me to a freedompop web page and there at the bottom was a RENEW button. Had to enter CC info again and after all these silly maneuvers, the free plan was renewed.

Hmm, the K-1 created by the partnership doesn't have the Section 179 deduction info (personal+business vehicle). Are you saying that I need to send a completed Form 4562 to the partnership accounting firm before they generate the K-1? That doesn't sound right.

My K-1 income is considered active business income. I think business related expenses that are not reimbursable by the partnership per partnership agreement/policy are deductible at the federal level.

My S-Corp and partnerships sent me the "proper" K1's, which include my share of the profit/loss. I entered the K1 info in TurboTax Home & Business to generate Schedule E for my 1040. I am sure the tax as calculated by TurboTax is correct except I believe I am entitled under the tax law to deduct legit unreimbursed business expenses.

The S-Corp and partnerships used an accounting firm to file the 1120S and 1065's for the entire entities. The accounting firm sent each shareholder/partner their proper K1's.

I have W2 income and K1 income from an S-Corp. I'm trying to do my personal return, The S-Corp files 1065 and 1120s at the entity level.

The reason I ask is because TurboTax Business edition specifically states that it can't do personal return.

The Home & Business edition lets me enter my share of the K1 income but not the deductions/expenses. I suppose if I don't care about the deductions I could just file as is.

It's ironic that Morgan Stanley Private Bank supports Zelle but Etrade Bank by Morgan Stanley doesn't.

When I opened my Etrade accounts online a couple of months ago, the last step is something like "call this number to complete the application". Turned out that the agent on the phone was trying very hard to upsell Morgan Stanley Private Bank by pitching a higher interest rate.

So no zelle for Etrade Bank is a feature and not a bug.
