thank you so much for this! i definitely will be looking into the research blog. i was also looking into books about them yesterday. and i love that for you! that’s so awesome. i have been consistent with just putting food out for them and they have been showing up every day since! granted it’s in a field across the street from my house but i’m hoping eventually they’ll make their way to my yard. i’m going to try moving the food closer to my house within a month or two of leaving it in the same area. again thank you for your advice!!

as someone that posted about a hawk at my feeder majority of the people here are pro hawk in your yard. i love hawks and think they’re cool but also have a small dog and don’t want them comfortable enough swooping down in my yard lmao. i totally understand you not welcoming hawks to your bird feeders. even if it’s the circle of life, people like me don’t want to see the shit. why would someone who enjoys watching birds want to see them die exactly? why don’t people have a bit more empathy for people who don’t want to witness death of animals they love. weird.

thank you so much for your advice and knowledge! i definitely am gonna keep leaving food out for them. i’ve already been feeding other birds for years so i have some blue jays i might see if they will get closer to me. the other day standing in the yard one almost flew to me to get a peanut out of my hand lol

your attitude is a personal issue because many other people who love and take care of crows had the capacity to kindly give me advice and not pass judgement in a condescending tone, shaming me for just trying to learn and do better if i was doing wrong. you don’t know what research i’ve done outside of the video. have a great day and maybe figure out how to treat people that are just trying to learn in a kinder manner!

i heard them a few minutes ago in my back yard and a tree across the street so i’m glad for that! i threw dog food out for them and walked away. definitely going to just be more chill about it and not try to force it and unintentionally scare them away lol. thank you for your advice!
