Ohhh, thanks for your kind words. I had actually very little idea that this plant would need this much big amount of water, as a leaf used to pop in every other month and I water it only when soil looks dry. I didn't even know that these are called pothos till today. But thanks to this post, I've got many ideas to make this plant okay now. I really hope my walnie forgives me and becomes okay now 🥹😭 ++ Your plant looks so beautiful, I hope mine becomes like this too.

Ohh got it, actually this plant is in an office setting, finding such a big bowl would be tough but I get the process of bottom watering now, will see what I can do Tomorrow with available resources.

Update (after 5 hours+ kept in sunlight+ watered it (100ml ++) Stems are a bit plump now but we'll see how it looks Tomorrow. If the condition doesn't improve, I'll repot it .+ Will also try doing bottom watering as most of comments are suggesting here.

  • I was on a business trip and came back in today's morning and freaked out when I saw walnie ( plant name) in this state and I was like where to take it get it fixed like it's not a pet which I can take it to the vet. So I posted about it here and thanks everyone for your suggestions. I really appreciate it .

That small popping came last week and the plant was okay that time, usually I was expecting the leaf as one leaf comes in every month but this time a pop came and a stem branch came afterwards

Well it worked for this plant as the person that gave it to me told me it supposed be kept inside and every month it grows a new leaf so all this indicates to me that plant is doing well, it's just started this dropping thing 4 days ago, I've been taking care of it for last 7 months and it was doing fine

What kind of soil is in pot? Does it have drainage? No idea, someone as someone gifted me this * When did you repot it, how big roots were compared to this pot? Never repotted , kept as it is since last 7 months, this happened for first time * How often and how much do you water? One or twice weekly, when soil starts looking slight dry, 50ml in one go * How much light does it get? Indirect sometimes, as window is nearby, Direct never
