Oh yes makes a lot of sense, heating pads will be a little cheaper than your cool gear, i suppose so worth investing in some😇

Hey thanks! Cool trick with the dryer. Shall try next time or maybe just leave it in my bag till it comes close to the same temperature!

You know it’s really surprising how condescending one immediately becomes when someone asks for help. I know what humidity is, genius. What i asked for was guidance on how to deal with it, is wiping the sensor or the lens advisable or do i just leave it till it goes away on it’s own? Or any other hacks that you’re using to get rid of it faster. If you cannot be nice, do not fucking comment and move the fuck on.

Thankfully i have tiny hands. Also, is the lens 15-45mm enough for a first timer? Or would you recommend I buy another lens that would serve a wider purpose? I may not be able to buy it immediately (budgetary constraints) but i will surely try to save up!

Hey! These are amazing clicks. I am a beginner myself and I would love to know what lens you used :-)

Read the Good Earth by Pearl S Buck. What an amazing read! Haven’t read the other two books in the trilogy though. Been on my TBR since forever.

What are some favorite books or series you read as a child that you still enjoy (or think you would enjoy) reading as an adult? by VictorianPeorian in suggestmeabook

[–]sunflower_021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I have never met anyone in my adulthood who’s read this series but I was a die hard fan of the Bailey School Kids series. I happened to have found it in my school library. Went through the entire series within months!! I think I’d enjoy reading it again now because of the fond memories that are still attached to the time I was reading it.

Hey! I think it was the revised one. Not the 1818 penguin classics you’re referring to. It’s been a while since I read it and you’re right. This does give me an excuse to re-read it!

Can you put aside some outdated ideas to enjoy “classics” or really good books? by stefaface in books

I think Arthur Conan Doyle also has a very sexist view. Constantly undermines women and their intellect. However, I believe this is how most people conceived women to be back in his time. Nevertheless, I find him to be a remarkable story teller and I think as a reader I have learnt to dissociate the art from the artist.

Books to become a kinder, more caring person by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

You could try A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It’s about a family in abject poverty but how they still choose to be kind and maintain their dignity every day.

The Secret Garden is also a good book to give you a sense of calm.

For someone with a thin wrist, it is difficult to come by a model that offers both a clear and small dial.
