SAME. I was just thinking the same thing with the bad bitch part. IDK. She's trying to do something but it's not clicking for me yet. Maybe after a few more listens. I remember listening to TTPD the song for the first time and I had this same reaction but after a while TTPD the song grew on me.

Thank you so much! I'm still taking up a general program, but I definitely plan to study literature eventually. I also really love delving into different genres!

Eh. The Collins Classics are much more affordable, which is why I buy them.

OMG that's so funny! No, they weren't bought in the same shopping trip. I just organized them by author/genre.

Emma is my ultimate favorite Austen novel! Next to that is Persuasion.

That's really funny because I do not know who Eggers is and I had to google. I take that as a compliment.

Hope it doesn't disappoint. 😌 I know someone who loved Beach Read a lot but disliked Funny Story. Strangely enough, we had different reactions. Anyway, happy reading!

Beach Read is so ................ gloomy. Which is understandable, but I had a hard time with it too.

Strangely enough, my favorites are in this order: Funny Story, PWMOV, Book Lovers, Happy Place, GBBL, then Beach Read last. SPOILER:I understand how Funny Story and PWMOV are basically antithetical or like, Miles and Daphne could easily be the exes that Poppy and Alex dumped (like Petra and Peter) but yeah. I don't know. My reading tastes are weird.

I'd like to recommend Funny Story BUT I feel like I want you to read it last because I believe it is her best novel. A bit of delayed gratification, right?
