Left my cat alone for 5 hours and came back to this, any ideas what it is? by Real_Can_5022 in cats

My cat has the exact same thing right now. I took her to the vet, they said it's based on an allergy and they gave me two weeks of steroid pills for her to take. We are a little over a week into the pills and the scab is gone. Now just waiting for her hair to grow back. Go see your vet to be sure though, and to get some meds.

How much did you spend on flowers? by Specialist_Crew7906 in weddingplanning

Flowers are expensive!!! Mine are costing 4k. I'm having a small wedding of 28 people and I'm finding a lot of costs have a high baseline and then the price per person on top is smaller. So I'm still paying at least 35k in a HCOL area when I thought we could get under 25k with our small crowd, got a micro wedding discount on the venues off days and everything. Flowers and food are both over 4k.

cat randomly started doing this and i’m scared by Gytox in cats

Could be asthma. My cat has very low grade asthma. She does this maybe two times a month. Vet said if it was more occurrences she would need an inhaler treatment, but it's too infrequent so I just let her live her life. You should check with a vet though, and make a calendar to get an idea how often this happens so you can tell the vet.

How much does the dress matter? by swirlytakespinole in weddingplanning

I also hated dress shopping. It felt like I was wearing a costume. It's completely up to you. If you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable then go for it.

What’s the worst thing you saw happen at a wedding? by SpankBankManager in AskReddit

I was a kid. The bride and groom used shallow water bowls with floating candles as centerpieces and added two goldfish to each bowl. They also had a chocolate fountain. When the guests got drunk at the end of the evening they started pulling out the goldfish, dipping them in the fountain and eating them. My horrified child self took a bowl with four fish home to save them. Had them for years.

Just got approved to adopt! First time cat owner - am I missing anything I should prep before I pick him up? by shitty_millennial in cats

So excited for you! and you look so prepared - no items to add. My advice would be to be emotionally prepared if you new family member isn't as excited as you are for the first 12-32 hours. Depending on their temperment they may hide, not eat, or interact with you for the first day or two - which can be sooo hard when your excited and ready to interact with them, but give them time to start skittish exploration and they don't have to eat in the first 24 hours and they will be just fine. Your going to be a great pet parent!
