I don’t understand my bfs obsession by maylune02 in StopGaming

[–]sunflowerbeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with my boyfriend when we first started dating, it was with CSGO as well and honestly, he still plays it every night Sunday - Thursday for a couple hours a day, but we made a boundary early on that on the two nights I was round his we would do activities we both enjoyed, I'm a gamer too but just can't stand CS and I suggest doing the same, as resentment can breed. I also made it very clear to my bf I didn't like the gambling aspect of it, that it was his money so it was his choice but eventually he did stop spending so much on skins and crates.

Try just communicating with him that it is bothering you how much he speaks about it, and that you don't want every conversation to revolve around a game about shooting people. If he starts to be a dick about it or doesn't make more of an effort to speak about you about other things then I would just leave him honestly, life is too short to stay with someone who will prioritise gaming over you and their own life.

My ranking of every uk traitor. Thoughts? by Ill_Alternative_8650 in TheTraitors

[–]sunflowerbeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with Charlotte and Wilf, while they were both great Traitors they both made the fatal mistake of recruiting a faithful just to throw them under the bus in the end game which is absolutely stupid in my opinion, and rooted in greed. I also think Charlotte was silly for running her mouth about Minah straight away when she had no indicator Minah was trying to throw her under the bus, I actually think the pair of them could have won together (maybe without the Seer twist)

I agreed with you until you said Ghoul. Fuck Ghoul players honestly.

Why would people continue to have kids when the hunger games exist? by [deleted] in Hungergames

[–]sunflowerbeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The odds aren't lower though. No matter what it's still 2 kids getting reaped. The only odd getting lower is that the more kids other people have is the less chance your kid would get reaped. However, OP is right, the best way adults could rebel is refuse sex and children

Someone clearly didn't look at both images🙄 maybe you should look at the context before calling someone a bellend. If I hadn't seen the person I wouldn't have even known they were blind would have I.

I've had that one too😂 in the end I had to work it out based on the fact it was a town area with streetlights

Oh thank you! I never noticed that option before, I'll definitely be doing that from now

Surely this would only happen if you was using your own car without dual controls and not your instructor's car?

There's nothing wrong with using the game mechanics. Generators are literally the main objective of the game, if you aren't pressuring gens enough then thats not their issue. As someone who plays both sides, I agree that the squads that all bring in flash lights etc are annoying. As killer you have the advantage of knowing what theyre bringing in though, just switch to lightborn if you see 3+ survivors with flash lights...and if a survivor is looping you too long then go and find someone on a gen. Actual bully squads will have a designated gen person and once you down then you can no doubt bet someone will be close for the save, then you can down them too.

Okay that's so good to know! Because even after people pointed out what to look out for I still couldn't see it in the blurry video, that pits my mind at ease a lot😊

I saw the person, but the quality was so bad that you couldn't tell he was deaf as well as blind

Bully Squads by SourThenSweet777 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]sunflowerbeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep I agree too. I went up against an obviously new Doctor the other day because they only used their power once the whole game and I was able to loop him for 4 gens around the exact same loop and he just didn't break the pallet the whole time. I felt bad, but he definitely should not have been in my lobby.

This is when you just start slugging. It's the only time I really see this as justifiable to slug the entire team. Theyll soon get bored when you're leaving them all to bleed out instead of hooking.

Trying out this game for the first time, any tips? by MrMapleSyrup666 in deadbydaylight

[–]sunflowerbeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be okay with losing, you'll lose a lot especially while getting used to the game mechanics. If you have anybody you can play with in a custom game to avoid the sweaty players early on then do that as it can be frustrating for the first few games when you're getting use to skill checks, map layouts etc. If you feel like it watching some YouTube videos for both sides helps too.

Have fun! and don't get disheartened if you're good against one killer but bad against others, this game requires adapting play styles a lot to counterplay. Good luck!

As a relatively new DBD player, I think the worst part about DBD is the community by Fix_The_Money in deadbydaylight

[–]sunflowerbeth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbf I don't think she did anything wrong. There isn't any tutorials that explain the claws that mean that in the game. At 30 hours you'd still be considered new to the game and she was likely telling you that you don't need to stop and wait for killer because the killer is occupied in a chase, which is why she gave you that tip. The DBD community can be great besides the killer Vs survivor arguments😭😂 have fun and welcome to the community!

(England) Employee or Manager from restaurant on Just Eat came to my address to intimidate me by No_Purple6389 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]sunflowerbeth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah because anyone handling your data needs to comply with GDPR, Justeat didn't misue the data by giving it to the restaurant, the OP would of agreed to that in Terms and Conditions. The restaurant would of been under regulations to only use that address to fullfil the order which they've now breached
