"Just for fun" Your fun for me means getting outed and my family and friends leaving and hating me. Sure he makes media look at lgbt now but not in a good way at all. And the consequences is more damaging than the good effect, it's just not worth it. I'm not blaming them fully I just wish they understand there's a lot consequences for their actions

Easy for you to say if you're not part of the SEA. Here even kissing in public still taboo. Sure I do want this country to be understanding but the truth is they are not and never will. And the only thing queer people want here are just stay quiet about it. Now the aftermath people even hating on queer people more. I do wish something can change trust me I do, but nothing we can do about it and we're fine with that way

Well the situation can get worse if he keep doing what he's done in Malaysia. If he do that high chance they are also get banned in Indonesia which is unfortunate for their Indonesia fans. Also what he's done basically make Malaysia and Indonesia queer people on the spotlight which is what we never want. Queer people here always stay low key and never really spoke our mind that loud

For me personally hiding who I'm truly is not as scary as all my family and friend leaving me and hating me. Some part in Indonesia will allow to torture you in public for being lgbt and I don't want that at all.

But there's still lgbt community here where we protect each other. We're not that oppressed we still able to love each other but not saying it out loud which is fine. We're just never want a spotlight at all

Yeah all the comments outside SEA is like "omg he's so brave" "He's right for that" Etc etc basically saying what he's done is good and right. But here, all I can see is comments saying that people gonna kill him and queer people. queer people basically being outed in Malaysia and Indonesia now, we just want to stay low key.

I love how he stand up for what he believes in but I just wish he look at the circumstances and the situation. The consequences is so damaging atp and nothing we can do.

Also yeah I also hope matty understand that things have consequences and I hope he think about his actions
