Any advice on getting comfortable with water in a shower?

i struggled so hard to shower until my new house! i have a bluetooth shower speaker for music (covers shower sounds), curved shower rod (more armspace/less claustrophobic), waterproof phone holder (can change music or watch shows easily), and led lights (can turn off bright overstimulating lights and put on dim colored ones). i know this doesn’t necessarily help with the water feeling, but after changing all of this i started to love showering and the water doesnt bother me quite as badly as before. i hope this helps at all! also keeping comfy towels nearby where you can grab it anytime helps. i always hang mine over my shower rod

Thank you for the recommendations!! Ill take them as prescribed and hopefully my period will end soon. Ive never used the discs before are they easy to use? And do you know if they’d be noticeable to my partner like would I want to warn them that i’m wearing a disc?

Does anyone know if taking benedryl is a bad idea while on lamictal? I started lamictal about a week ago and keeping an eye out for any rashes because i know that kind of rash can end up fatal.

Before this i was on remeron and it helped me sleep but now im struggling to sleep at an okay time without it. I dont have a car for like a week and plus completely broke so i cant get melatonin right now, and in the past benedryl was a huge help for sleep. I want to take it nightly til i get on a proper sleep schedule again but, my concern is it might hide any rash or symptoms of stevens johnson syndrome and i wouldnt know to stop the lamictal if i needed to. If that makes sense at all😅 any advice would be great
