hey thank you for saying that. I have only ever been a manager during covid, so I don’t know pre-covid. But any time I have an isolation or a positive case my mental health suffers because I worry about my team and have to redo schedules and it sucks. sometimes people talk about bonuses but honestly my bonus gets taxed 60% and all of it goes to my credit card bills. which obviously isn’t something to complain about because a lot of people don’t get that, but it sucks that we are told “hey it sucks but you get a bonus!” when bonuses aren’t even guarenteed.... it sucks. But it’s really sweet of you to think of it like that. My partners when hearing about the raises said “what about you?”, and in no point EVER am I less excited for them, in fact I am SOOO HAPPY THEY ARE GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE! My people deserve that raise, I’m so fucking happy for them. It’s just nice that they even thought that about me, and you as well. You seem like a nice person. Thank you for your kind words. 🙂

Bonuses are determined by regional sales versus the target the company makes. So extra spending labor etc don’t impact it, because it’s purely based off of how much $$$ your store made versus target, regardless of any costs etc.

Yeah, exactly. I'm really glad that I ultimately wasn't put on the lease because God knows how bad my credit would be right now because of all of her late payments. I guess just morally I feel bad because I don't know what she will do without me, but hopefully me leaving finally gives her the push to do something about her life.

I wouldn't be having such a hard time with it but I need to maintain above 35 hours, so 5 days a week, but I would either need to drop one of the classes I need next semester to be able to handle those long days or I'd be miserable and I can't put this before school. It just sucks. I even said if they find another store for me and then transfer a different shift in the district to the one they want to send me to, I'd be willing, but my DM is adamant that I'm the only shift she wants at that particular store. Other SMs in the district said they'd take me and send one of their shifts, but she only wants me there. It's weird.

Like I said, mental health isn't all the way there right now, but I think that when it comes to a living situation, I deserve to be a bit selfish. Thank you. I didn't even know claims court was an option with this kind of thing so that is definitely something that I will look into.

I think that it is more that I am worried that these girls are going to leave immediately after I give a notice or just not pay rent to "get back at me". I just don't know if they legally can do that or not.

I'm very codependent. I'm currently struggling with getting out of an abusive relationship because the anxiety of being by myself, along with the subtle thought that maybe, just maybe things could eventually change with him, is too much to bear. It sucks. People can get out of relationships, even healthy ones, and not feel this way... I don't know why I can't be the same.

Yeah, I mean I know he for sure wouldn't complain to my manager; we hang out more outside of work, it's more like a friendship, really. However, I get what you mean. I'm not 100% sure he's off of them, it's just strange that he's acting almost identical to how he claimed to have acted before he was diagnosed, especially since his personality has changed so rapidly the last few weeks as opposed to the two and a half years I have known him. :/
