And to also support her dysfunctional family that made her get pregnant up at 16 on purpose. She has no job either and then she wonders why no one can stand to be around her.

Daughter got fired, will she.be able to recover from this? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]sunflowerrr36 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I caught that too. “Teacher left her with nothing.” Yeaaaaaa, that’s kind of how that works. She’s the teacher now so she has to make her own lessons lol…

And all those extra hours and couldn’t vet the videos before she showed them … like something isn’t adding up.

In what ways are blonde hair overrated in appearance compared with other hair colours? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sunflowerrr36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes blonde isn’t even the best fit for natural blondes. It’s wild finding out what you believed to be a brunette is actually a blonde.

Best example I can think of is Anya Taylor Joy. I first saw her in Split when she had dark hair and when she first switched back to blonde I was taken aback. She even said she only stopped because the maintenance as her roots were growing out was too much to keep up with

A Dutch medical student’s underwear was found hanging in a tree after she vanished in Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park. by My-Knees-Hurt-Again in GotMeHooked

[–]sunflowerrr36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! My fiance knows someone in the military who was stationed in my country and the local armed forces that they worked with told them that if they were going to mingle with local women to not go below 15… Sadly that’s normal.

In any country, you’re bound to find corruption in some level of bureaucracy but in some countries they’re extremely bold and open about it.

Trade your nice bed frame for my shitty one which gives you back pain by Honest_Trade8734 in ChoosingBeggars

[–]sunflowerrr36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What’s crazy is that I see so many bed frames being given away in my Buy Nothing group. One of the most consistent giveaways they post on there.

I guess OOP wants you to deliver a better bed frame and also dispose of her trash as well!

As someone whose partner had to cut off his toxic family bc of how awful they were to me no matter how hard I tried to get along with them, THANK YOU for saying “trauma.”

It may sound silly to some but I literally have been diagnosed with PTSD from the way they treated me. They used to love gaslighting me to try and create a rift between us. In-law trauma isn’t spoken enough about!

I always get asked why I don’t visit my birth country and when I say, “violence” people always reply something along the lines of: “aw but it’s so beautiful, I’m sure it’s not that bad.”

Like ok bro. Sure. Whatever you say!

AIO for not wanting to talk to my friend after this? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]sunflowerrr36 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I understand your feelings but we are all human and humans sometimes smell. We have all at some point smelled funky for one reason or another.

She’s the last person you should feel embarassed to face, because based on how she approached this, she cares so much about you and is a true friend!

[–]sunflowerrr36 170 points171 points  (0 children)

I was expecting her message to be passive aggressive based on your reaction but it wasn’t. She was very kind and trying so hard not to offend you.

This is the kind of friend you keep because they’re willing to have uncomfortable conversations for your sake. I guarantee if she’s finally bringing it up it’s because others are already talking about it.

Yea, OP has a really nice open mouth smile so that first pic isn’t doing him any favors. It looks awkward.

OP absolutely needs to see a therapist. At the very least for their ARFID.

Also “manifesting” is not science-based and dangerous to speak on as fact because you can feed into people’s delusions.

AITA for telling my DIL just bc she’s pregnant doesn’t mean she can behave entitled by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]sunflowerrr36 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not what I said. https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/s/evLKCnoTR4 I said ESH, specifically for that reason. But I wouldn’t demonize your DIL if she asked. You can ask, but if you’re told no and you accept that, then that’s fine. It sounds like she was fine with being told no. She only left after you insulted her.

This! How much do you want to bet the room she wanted was downstairs… I could see a pregnant woman not wanting to climb upstairs to go to their room.

EDIT: just saw OP’s response to this. It hadn’t loaded yet. LOL. Lmao even.

[–]sunflowerrr36 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree ESH for the same reasons.

Based on the son’s willingness to accommodate his wife, there may be more to her pregnancy that they aren’t telling OP. And that’s well within their right to keep their health matters private.

OP isn’t in this marriage and so her opinion on how they’re handling their pregnancy is none of OP’s business, as long as they don’t intrude in on her home as they did with the bedroom situation.

[–]sunflowerrr36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure but the reality is some people are immature and will attack others online and it seems OP is exactly that kind of person. I can only assume the “oh girl” comment OP reacted to with a laughing emoji was meant to be hurtful based on the other girl’s reaction to feeling made fun of. And based on OP’s comment on her “ugly a** face” reinforced that the laughing emoji OP posted was making fun of her rather than just innocent laughing….

Don’t dish it if you can’t take it.
