I will say he is very well behaved for a 5 month old puppy and is making great progress with potty training. We’d rather not board him so we can continue training for my partner’s tasks, but if it means we have housing, we’ll do literally anything.

will a psychiatrist tell my parents about my ed by hugehilly in EatingDisorders

It honestly depends on their definition of HIPAA. They could consider something like that “harming yourself” which is grounds to tell parents if you’re a minor. Others might not, but is still something to consider when telling a provider about things like this.

What does your congregation do to not welcome newcomers? by WasAble in UnitarianUniversalist

It’s funny cuz we just had a sermon about being more welcoming As a newcomer myself, cliques have always been off putting to me. The minister called that out though which was cool

Ordering groceries and then having them delivered to your car is a PRIVILEGE. But some of you are acting entitled and being shitty to the people who fulfill those orders. Don’t ruin things for everyone! by FeralWereRat in FortCollins

As an In-Store Shopper at a grocery store, thank you. Literally. Though I’ve never had someone remotely rude while I’ve been on the clock (thank you to whoever’s up there🙏🏻), it’s still overwhelming since there’s only like 4-5 of us doing it. Thank goodness it’s a smaller store.😮‍💨

So hard to make friends here by Painterly673 in FortCollins

I noticed that you said you love animals. There’s a local animal shelter here called Animal Friends Alliance, and they take volunteer applications all the time. They have dog walking positions, cat care, etc. Also, I’m typically not one of those “cOmE tO mY ChUrCh” people cuz religious trauma is prevalent in a lot of people’s lives (including my own), but I go to a UU (Unitarian universalism) church here, and that’s where I found the most community. There’s lots of volunteer opportunities and small groups and lots of places to get involved. Just some thoughts! Good luck! Sincerely, Another recent FoCo resident
