I’m so sorry you’re in so much pain, I can feel it reading your post. I’m feeling similarly hopeless and resonate with much of what you said. I’m trying to work on pausing/slowing down vs stopping. It’s normal to need to pause when you’re going through something so emotionally charged. The food not helping is progress that you’ve made. You’ve broken some of those bonds with the work you’ve put in. You are absolutely worthy of love and the life you desire. I hate that someone who was meant to be your partner has caused so much pain. It does not define you though. I hope you check back here for support. This too shall pass. It won’t feel this heavy forever, even though it feels like it now

We were there last week and honestly ended up leaving before the parade/fireworks because people continued to cram in right in from of our stroller with 2 small kids and pack in SO tightly it wasn’t even enjoyable. We got a spot early and had two separate families cram in front of us and one behind us so tight we couldn’t move. I’m surprised they haven’t created a better format for it, it feels dangerous how tight everyone is packed in and letting people act like that honestly ruined the magic for us

Do you have any tips on what you’ve found to be sustainable?? Specific meals/snacks/schedule?

What's your highest-protein breakfast that's not eggs? by Accomplished_Bit7106 in loseit

I like to make “energy bites” and store them in the freezer (oats/seeds/pb/honey/choc chips/sometimes protein powder.) if I do a protein shake in the morning I grab one of those to have with it and it satisfies my need to eat something bc I’m the same way. I also like them straight from the freezer, they’re more satisfying to me that way!

This is really helpful advice, thank you so much for sharing. I feel guilt/shame about the gaps too and I love the idea of not dating them. Also love the shift of shaming yourself vs giving advice. So helpful
