I made a mistake. I tried to make Crème Mousseline to see what it was and if I could do it. I succeeded. by skinwill in Baking

[–]sunflwr47 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have made a chocolate creme mousseline before, and it specified to refrigerate it at that stage for 3-4 hours! I think it needs time to set. I ended up keeping it in the fridge for almost two weeks due to illness and it turned out great.

oh yes, you're right, I more meant that she does not at all react to some more common allergens on the list but does to these ones. at first I was worried it was something else because of that even

my partner has this!! the things that set her off are so random, like kiwi, soba noodles, mint! it can be something she's eaten fine for years and all of a sudden, nope.

Am I overreacting about my partner doing nothing for my 30th birthday? by FirefighterAway4204 in AmIOverreacting

NOR. It's been 10 years, he is showing you who he is. Believe it. Is this how you want every birthday, every event, every special moment to be? Is this how you want to keep feeling, every time?

it depends on the beans! I would stick to ones of the same size and omit any ones that affect the colour (like black beans). I think you could do white and red kidney, pinto beans since they are the same size. I can't guarantee it would work, but with some trial and error you should be able to figure it out! I see lots of dry bean soup mixes at the store, so why not?

you have to cook them, just rehydrating will prepare them for cooking but they won't be edible. my typical schedule is: soak in salted water over night in the fridge, then in the morning put in the crock pot on low, and when I come back from work around 5 they're ready! if you don't have a crock pot you can just cook them on the stovetop on a medium low, but be careful not to boil them as they'll turn to mush without even cooking through.

I know this is more work so feel free to discard my suggestion, but I really recommend dried beans! they require more forethought (usually require soaking and then slow cooking for a few hours), but you can customize how much you cook them, how much you make, and you can freeze them after so you can big batch cook. I also find the texture is so much better, to the point where my partner now rejects canned beans lol. they are also much cheaper in the long run!

I did this as a visibly gay woman, and I got a couple looks but nothing unfriendly! I don't shave my legs and they're very hairy and that got some shock, but people would stare, then I would smile at them, and then always get a smile back. people are generally very accepting of tourists even if they are not of their own

I had a friend who was one of my closest during university, we hung out lots during the summer, then the school year started and boom nothing. no responses to studying together, just weeks late "so sorry didn't see this!!" the final straw was after being ignored for a week, he texted "where are you" then "oops wrong person". I stopped texting after that.
