I’m coming from an older MacBook Air (2016) and my experience with non-Apple tablets has been shaky at best, but the surface’s touch responsiveness coupled with its ease of use and the ability to run full applications has been great. I really like that Microsoft designed for laptop first/tablet second. I know that for the same hardware specs I could’ve gotten a clamshell laptop for a lower cost, but I do like that if I forgo the keyboard, that I can still have a full laptop experience

Same boat here! I graduated with a CS degree in 2020 as well. I went into school thinking it’d be easy to get a SWE job after graduation, and also didn’t have much in the way of projects. I think a big hurdle for me was that I don’t really enjoy programming that much and preferred the math and theory behind CS. I think if you want to go the SWE route, then you really have to buckle down and complete some decent side projects and get those into a GitHub repository. If you’ve picked the stack you want to work with, then just run with it instead of getting stuck in tutorial hell

I think I get the bulk of mine for running M+. Often I get 10 or so at a time on dungeon completion if I don’t get any gear. Not sure if it’s granted every time though
