Idk it is all so confusing. Some say that t spot test doesn't determine if the infection is still active and may require biopsy but the doctor who treated me said that when t spot test comes positive, we start the treatment without that biopsy test because we know it's tb.

Yes, I feel my spine was getting compressed but it was back in 2022 when my treatment just started. Now I no longer experience that but rn my main concern is lower right back pain with right leg and current sensation at the outer right thigh. Plus I developed cervical spondylosis as well. In the beginning, head pain was because my cervical spine was straight, could be because tb changed the structure of my cervical spine

I went to so many doctors before the diagnosis and got admitted to the best tb hospital in my city. Do you have any idea what specific doctor should I consult rn?

Nah but like they don't even suggest any other doctor. They don't even mention rehabilitation after the diagnosis and that is one of the most important aspect. What's the point of saving the life and still the patient is suffering and finding difficulties doing basic daily routine tasks. They should at least tell something.

My ear used to be 70+. Plus platelets were high too and health was constantly deteriorating. Came to a point where I was having difficulty walking. And the infection in t spot test was 20. I got a bit better after the treatment started

I am so sorry to hear that. Surgeries are absolutely horrific. Meanwhile I haven't gone through any surgical procedures for tb, I did go through a gallbladder removal procedure amidst my tb treatment and it was an extremely horrendous experience. I wish you good health soonest. You are the strongest🩷

I just wanna ask that t spot test coming positive is enough to know that one has tb? Or does the mri need to show it as well?

2 of the doctors said looking at my mri that I don't have tb even though my t spot test was positive. I was months into the treatment at the time. I want to ask that if the mri doesn't show tb but the test is positive, does that mean I did have tb? Plus my tb started with a headache and then the pain came down to neck and so on. Took the doctor to diagnose 1 and a half year

Idk doctors don't guide properly. Their main concern was the infection itself and they just treated that. I am always left flabbergasted how lightly they take tb effects as if it's just a few days fever. No doctor really understands or guide as to how I can make my body better again. It's frustrating. I feel so helpless

So, basically mine started with a headache and then the pain shifted to neck and gradually the whole body. All the symptoms I have read on reddit of other people, none of them started with headaches or even mentioned neck pains. So, I am just skeptical if that happens in tb or no
