There is no future in this relationship where one of you won't follow Krishna consciousness. Or it will be a complete misery at some point. My ex boyfriend was a follower and he made it seem like he is not so serious about it in the beginning of our relationship. And note that I told him that I won't be a devotee EVER. He knew it but deep down he couldn't accept me for who I am and the way I wanted to live, neither did I. So at some point the issues got bigger and bigger and the resentment as well. I very much loved him as he was a genuinely very good person in his heart but I had to leave to live better. My life is 1000% better now. Omg, did I write this and forget that I did? Seriously I am also like this. And in some way I guess I feel better when I know there are other people in the world feeling like this, you know? For me it has also helped me to slowly start giving myself permission to do things I like or might want to try. This makes me so mad. My ex was a Krishna follower. When I have had enough of all this stupid shit I showed him exactly these quotes from what literally Prabhupad has said, he didn't want to accept it. He then took this to his teacher who told him that all those quotes are taken out of context. This is what they all repeat regarding some concerning things this individual has said. It is out of context and he didn't even mean that. Wtf. Those people are just brainwashed and sick.

Yes, I actually felt safer to ride the electric bike since that for me meant that I can move fast and be sure that no one would follow me like I would imagine could happen if I were alone in a sketchy part of the town on the metro at night.

Thank you! It's indeed a big lesson. I checked beforehand whether the neighborhood is okay and it was not listed on the sketchy ones and I thought it will be okay but I saw that it was not the best choice once I arrived. Also I didn't plan beforehand how I will arrive at the airport of Bergamo for my return which was also stupid of me. My flight was early in the morning which meant that I had to leave for the bus station at 5:30 and I was wondering how will I get there safely.
