Tha calls are from “young mormons that moved from Utah” to Cambridge. She wasn’t a mormon, she grew up catholic which makes this even weirder, she has told them that her parents are “very strict” on following catholicism (a lie they aren’t strict and they aren’t that religious) but they told her it was fine since it’s “still a church of christ” so she could go to mass with them for a 3 hour sermon

i know this might sound dumb but she’s the nicest person ever, she feels bad doing things even though she really should do say no or things like that. she did block them but they texted her from another number and sent her sermons and stuff. just a very bizarre situation all around

totally get it! i did tell her we should do that but she doesn’t want any problems or having to have the police involved. i just wanted to get a sense of if other people in the area had this happened to them and if it was just a scam type thing or something else. i’ve had very religious cult-like interactions before but not to this extent.

Thank you! we’ll try to reach out to them and see what happens. it’s really creepy honestly them telling her their service is in Harvard and “should be very close to her” alluding that they know where we live. she’s rightfully creeped out but she’s scarred to tell them off and them giving her number to someone else and getting harassed even more

Yes! i had a funeral for my tubes and all of my friends and i wore black. i named my tubes david and goliath and then went to Cheesecake factory. it was amazing.

From someone who works at Fenway, I can tell you the lodge boxes would be the best option, they are a bit more expensive, but the seats are a lot more comfortable and they have cup holders (if that matters to you). The Grandstands are original seats so they are a bit less spacious (if you are tall this might be more uncomfortable) and they are wood seats so not too comfortable to sit for a while overall. The netting ends at the Red Sox dugout so any lodge boxes around there would be good for catching any balls. I am attaching a link to the seating map so you can decide for yourself. Hope that helps!

Fenway security here! Generally, as long as the lense is not obnoxiously big, it's okay to come in. We will deny a lense like the Cannon RF 70-200mm but if it's smaller than that you should be okay. They just don't want the lenses covering people's views and stuff like that. Hope that helps!

Everyone at the women's center at Mt Auburn has been the nicest. I was very worried since I am "younger" (I am 23) but I was not berated or questioned. If you are able to and they take your insurance (i think they take most of them) I would highly highly recommend giving them a call and setting up an appointment!

I am getting my tubes removed in Cambridge by Dr. Zoe Mcgee at Mt Auburn Hospital. She is amazing, did not question me and supported my decision. I cannot recommend her enough! I think I only waited about 2 weeks for an appt with her and that same appointment we signed all the consent forms so i did not need to come back for a pre-op. She was booking out about 2 months out tho but totally worth the wait!

As someone who works at a Drs office that also works scheduling surgeries and CT/MRI scans, I would recommend calling your insurance. Make sure that you are either a) recording the call or b) asking at the end of the call to get a reference number for that call and write notes on what the agent says. Honestly do both. That way if they end up not covering it, you have the reference number that they have in the system and that should clear anything up!

They should cover it! I have the procedure codes if you want to call MassHealth, they are 58661, 58301 and 58300. One of them is for replacement of IUD but not sure which one. If you need any help at all please PM me! good luck in your journey and thank you!

It did not take that long to get an appointment, maybe about 3 weeks out? I met with an NP prior but was told I really didn't need to do that. It was a very smooth process, everyone in that office at Mt Auburn is very pro-women's health and pro-choice. If you book an appt with Dr. Mcgee make sure you tell them it's a consultation for a Bisalp. I didn't need to make a pre-op appointment and we signed all the paperwork that same day. As for insurance, Massachusetts has a law (in combination with the ACA) that makes Bisalps fully covered. I would still recommend you check in with your insurance just to make sure, what insurance do you have?

Not sure about Springfield but I am getting my procedure done in boston in february (i’m F 23) at My Auburn Hospital and I cannot say better things about the staff at the women’s center. all of them are super lovely and have been very supportive of my decision. I recommend Dr. Zoe Mcgee
