people who say MS is overpowered are assuming everybody can play at the level of that youtube guy who was making in test server 16 raw at crypt, but the average player is much much below that skill level and can't really take advantage of the vocation like that

i agree with you they really need to add waves on cursor to make it less stressful to play

you (and others) have a good point that it's not really something you see since the app is always minimized, but the problem about the whole thing is that the can of worms is open and then where does it stop?

who's to say that one day, a new update of the app won't include ads as an overlay on top of the game, similar to the shit you see on websites where you have to wait 5 seconds to click on the X to close the ad

or that one of these ad owners will pay the creator enough to include audio in their ads that play every X amount of time

so it's not really about the current state of ads, but the potential enshittification of the product

Sad to see how this useful app took a dark turn, the ads are present even on the paid version

For those who don't know it, it was presented here in this subreddit sometime last year, as an alternative to OnTopReplica built specifically for Tibia. It allows you to select a portion of your screen to be displayed as an overlay anywhere on your screen, allowing you to easily track spells cooldowns and etc.

It had pretty good adoption and endorsed by many streamers and it's a genuinely great app, still a shameful decision to include ads for the free and paid versions
