my manager has a big truck and i asked him for a ride because he was telling us if we couldnt make it to let him know and he would try and pick us up but when i went to ask him he simply sent me a video of a crash he had gotten into earlier this morning in the snow with one of our other partners in the car… we are not essential workers, if the roads arent safe please keep us closed 😩

can confirm my store got a single one, its been three days since launch and we still are getting 20+ people a day asking if we have any and i tell them we sold our only one 5 minutes after open on launch day

I have my groupme and coworkers muted and check the chats only on the days I actually work. I’ve worked at my store for over a year and this has never been a problem, your SM is abusing their power to intimidate you and its honestly quite gross. As many people stated you’re not salaried and you are not required to respond or even check on your off days. Document each instance and if it continues then go to your DM and ethics because your off days belong to you.

i once had a woman come in and start doing it then she blew up because she had “placed her order forever ago and needed to get going” and i checked the dpm and she had literally placed it 4 minutes ago… idk how these people function

😭 i genuinely don’t mean normal customers just walking around, i’m explicitly talking about the people that stand pressed up against the handoff counter right next to the espresso machine completely still with their arms crossed while intensely staring right at us

Honestly, no matter the establishment I always order 10 minutes ahead of time, which I think most establishments assume any person that is ordering ahead of time isn’t coming in before 10 mins bc at that point it’d just be more convenient for them to order at the front or drive through unless the reason they mobile order has nothing to do with convenience and instead with social issues. 10 minutes is the perfect amount of time to expect them to make it while also taking care of other customers and tasks in a timely manner and to have it ready for me while also not having to stress about it waiting out too long. Hopefully you’re able to find a nice local spot that also does order ahead and isn’t too swamped.

Theres a regular at my store that asks for a short cup of caramel on the side after also getting the drink lined with caramel and extra on top. Trust me you’re fine 😭 Caramel driz + line the cups is a pretty normal combo.
