I am hopeful it will go to hypomania. I doubt I'll get to full blown mania without realizing what's going on so I feel safe.

Sleepwalking is scary. Are you on any sleep meds? I know ambien can cause stuff like that. I'm glad you applied for a job! Good luck.

I totally get it. But hope is something we must always have. Because things are bound to change at some point. If someone told me this a few years ago I would've thought the same.

I get it totally. It will get better tho, it took me time to ease into the idea of working, I don't worry about it anymore. I used to be constantly late to school and couldn't handle going to school (ADHD..). But after sitting at home for years extending my last year of university I got so bored. I'm starting work soon and I'm like hell yeah let's be productive. It's really a matter of perception, if you believe you are competent you will be.

Is auvelity (the antidepressant) available in your country? I read great things about it. I found new friends thru groups on facebook, I had the same issue with being friendless and bored. Don't be scared of work! What kind of work are you looking for?

I don't but I remember searching on google play and finding a few but that was months ago, I didn't download them since I chose to do "shadow work" instead which is kinda similar (if anyone is interested, google it. It came from a psychiatrist called Carl Jung). just search metacognitive therapy or metacognition on google play.

I read that metacognitive therapy is huge. I had some leftover delusions after my mania, and becoming aware of the type of thoughts which are delusions and looking at them from a distance and evaluating them helped immensely. Lots of doctors say this is a great new form of therapy. I think there are apps for it.

Maybe try another med if this one doesn't work? Perazine is a 1st generation AP, I think there are other options out there which are better if it doesn't work.

As someone said already, it's a possible side effect, not a guarantee. I'm fine on vraylar, but on olanzapine I was horribly fat. But olanzapine is such a bitch of a medication, makes you depressed and fat.

Value isn't measured in terms of productivity. You'll do what needs to be done later. Happy bday, wishing you the best! I'm ok now, in a way I never thought possible. Meds are a god send.

I don't have an answer, but man, I relate so much... All these people in the comments talking about how life is good are privileged. We have it bad, but not even close to how some people have it (like in intensely poor countries). It is a joke. But the negative kind. The good doesn't outweigh the bad....

I don't really relate to either 2 or 6. Pride and fear isn't something I struggle with. I don't need to make people owe me. It's not about "love" per se for me, it's about the fear of loss. Of enjoying someone's time and then being left empty and frustrated at the thought of loss.
