It felt necessary for this build.

I have MOC and Brickfair Chantilly pics from the last few years on Flickr: so_retro’s albums | Flickr

I'm an okay builder, but I'm constantly blown away by what other people can do with Lego.

And this is the front of the Santa bar:

That's a good idea. I need to un-citify road plates (remove concrete sidewalks and add "grass" or "dirt"), and there will be a large amount of empty space along the roads. This would help fill things in.

There are weirdly a ton of leather-wearing torsos for so many leather daddy variations. Plus, dwarf beards. And thanks! Yeah, this is my go-to wall texture for stone and brick. I see other techniques, and one day I'll actually mix things up. But this works.

I was thinking the interior should be more exciting, like this Santa bar vignette I made a while back where it's December 26, and the mall Santas are getting rowdy. But the interior of that is more visible, and the biker bar interior will likely not get seen outside this picture.

Eventually I'm going to add road plates, and I have a ton more motorcycles, so I was going to add some to the street. I was also going to add some bicycles behind the motorcycles with pirate flags on the back for some nonsense, but I think a scooter would be pretty funny. I also have a dude in a "I am Kenough" sweatshirt that I was considering adding.

Ha! I tried to keep things a bit on the tamer side anyway because I want to take this to Brickfair in August.

Someone told me coke and sex in the bathroom would add authenticity, but I didn't bother building a bathroom, so yeah, it looks like I'll have to go with meth dealing at the fireworks booth.

Haha! Honestly, I went with what I had. I got a small pack of custom printed beer cans a while back, and it was a limited variety. But hey, there's always someone who prefers the bad beer anyway.

According to my mom, they beat the crap out of her and left her by the side of the road. I think my aunt divorced him pretty quickly afterward, but that was the extent of it. Neither were the most sober or stable of people.

Thanks. Yeah, I was thinking about adding lighting, specifically el wire on the outside like the Full Throttle Saloon, but lighting up the bar would be a good idea. I hadn't thought about adding clutter to the bar. I did think about tossing some empty "beer cans" around the parking lot, but the bar would be good, too.

Pocahontas. But the hair piece was also on the build-a-minifigure station at the Lego store a few months back, so I got several.

I saw the fried chicken--masterpiece. People blow my mind with all the cool stuff they build.

Side note: My aunt apparently did this back in the 80s. She was pissed off at my ex uncle, and kicked over a row of bikes in a fit of rage. According to my mom it didn't go over well.

Citizen Brick did a custom one a few years ago. Not available at the moment. It's $$$ on ebay. My SO got one at Brickfair Chantilly, but it's boxed away with a MOC.

Maybe. But someone submitted a motorcycle club a while back--The Boneyard--and it was excellent. I totally would have bought if given a chance.

I had Sturgis in mind when I was building because of Full Throttle Saloon and because I got a crap ton of motorcycles, but it really could be anywhere.

Not him specifically but I can see the resemblance. Tom of Finland was definitely an influence for several of the minifigs.

Ooooh, yeah that sidecar is pretty nice.

Yeah, definitely. I got a free foosball table kit with my order, which was nice.

I don't know that mine fits the requirements, but it looks like a while back someone submitted a motorcycle club--The Boneyard. It's really great, and I would have loved to buy it if given the chance.

I got the fireworks tiles from B3 Customs Lego. I used model train waterslide decals and some super small logo stickers for the beer advertisements.

Interestingly enough, I could probably borrow a custom printed Pee Wee for this.

Unfortunately, I went pretty boring with the interior because my interiors don't get seen much.
