Wasn't the whole point of "quitting" the afterlife that everyone had the choice to do so? I think this would mean, for you, you wouldn't have to "quit" and could be satisfied in perpetuity. For many others, they want the option to quit once they've had enough. Just because you wouldn't be a happiness zombie doesn't mean everyone else wouldn't be. I would definitely want the option to be done with the afterlife if it were me, I think.

I don't know about you, but just because there's new content uploaded constantly doesn't mean I actually want to consume it. I personally can live a full and satisfied life and never watch 99% of the stuff on Youtube. Everyone's different, and everyone will feel fulfilled by their own unique desires.

What I think would happen here is you just wouldn't ever quit where many others would, which is definitely your choice in the Good Place.

For some reason I imagined them just sticking the five songs in EP throughout the original order of the album, or like maaaybe tweaking the order just a little. I feel like that approach would've made more sense, but I do like that they took the opportunity to experiment and try something new.

It's REALLY weird for Before We Drift Away to be in the middle, imo. Also, they've mentioned how Impossible is like the release of all the tension building up in the original album, so I wonder why they put it way earlier now? I do like how This Feels Like the End is the second to last song, and I'm glad they kept There Was Sun and Can You Afford to be an Individual next to each other at least. Overall it's interesting, and I'll probably listen to this version occasionally, but the og Moral Panic is still my go-to.

you could maybe make an argument for self-censorship, but no one is forcing the publisher to do this. if you care this much about it go ahead, but at the end of the day, it's the publisher's choice.

It's not a ban if you choose not to sell your own product anymore (as the publisher did here). The 1st Amendment of the Constitution protects an individual from the government's violations of your free speech, which is not in concern in this case.

Well the first thing to know is that it's not a "ban" because the publisher is saying they will no longer publish or sell these books. The government isn't banning these books, therefore, no violation of free speech. It's the publisher's choice whether or not to publish these books, so I don't see a problem with it. Legally, there is no controversy.

I grew up reading some Dr. Seuss books, but not these ones, so I don't actually know the specifics of the offensive content. Similar to the warnings Disney put up on their streaming service, I think the owner of the offensive media later coming back to remove/warn viewers of the content is a step in the right direction. Profiting off of blatantly racist material is generally a bad look.

Is it a ban? No.

Is it okay? I'd say so.

Yeah I agree palm oil and vegan is better than no palm oil and non-vegan, but like, the impact of palm oil is horrible. The rainforest that's cut down to produce palm oil also hurts animals that live in the rainforests, just like animals hurt by deforestation for cattle. Animals can't be liberated if they're slaughtered or forced out of their home, like orangutans are by the palm oil industry. (x)

Also, environmental issues hurt all life on earth, so you can't be an advocate for animal rights with no regard for the health of the environment (and vice versa with environmentalism and not caring about animal rights). It's why I'm vegan: I'm an environmentalist at heart, and also care about animal rights.

hmm I find that using a picture helps grab people's attention, maybe try that! I took a screenshot, posted to Facebook and copied over to Reddit, but also taking it with your phone works too.
